Really good game and very different
We really like this game, there are two versions we play, one is the proper game with our 7-11 year olds and the other is snap with our 3 year old.The game is a different take on connect 4 I guess with cards instead, you have to have four of your rats in a row in any direction, the best thing about it is that it’s done by chance so you imagine a grid of 4x4 squares and you have to play within this, there are three different packs of cards with different rats, Rosie, Rusty and Rocky and so if there’s three players you get one each, it differs for how many players but for this we played with 3 and this is the best way.Your cards are face down then you pick a space to put your card then turn it over onto that space so you don’t know what it going to be, there are a number of different cards, a rat, a glowing rat, netted rats, cheese and a double rat and they all have different rules associated, sound complicated but after one trial game everyone was in with it.They are very quick games and most of the time, for us at least, no one won so you keep going setting a winning points score. It’s good fun and because of the randomness, and the cheese card where you have to be the first to slap your card down on top of it, it keeps you on the edge of your seat.Well worth a play, it’s good fun and as all good games it can be sooooo frustrating!

Good game
Bit like Tim tac toe but with rats, daughter likes it but finds it hard to picture the grid and doesn’t want to play much after 2 rounds, but encourages strategy.

Quick, easy game for all ages to enjoy together
This is a fast-paced, short but fun game themed around 3 rats: Rusty, Rocky and Rosie with a Connect-4 style game but with additional cards: Radiant Rat, Cheesy and Rat Trap with their own rules. The instructions sound much more complex than the game itself and following the first trial game, players quickly get the knack of creating their run of 4-rat cards. It can be enjoyed by 2-6 players and there is scope to make up your own rules or variations on existing rules to create your own personalised game. The cards are good quality, well printed and it is refreshing to see a British game amongst so many now from the Far East.Recommended for families, including multi-generational families and groups as fun way to spend time together.

Quick easy card game for infants.
This is a simple attractive card game for infants. The game can be played by two or three individuals or by 4 or 6 players split into two teams. There are three decks of cards which need to be sorted out before play can start. Each team gets their own deck.Players take turns to turn over own of their cards and place in on a grid in the centre of the table. Play continue until one layer/team has four of their rats in a row. There are a couple of special cards which shake things up a little. The game isn't much strategic challenge for older children. What makes the game enjoyable is the artwork. It is also good for infants that they have a fairly even chance of winning. Playing time is 20 minutes or less.

Quick to learn for all ages
This is a simple enough game to learn, with easy to follow instructions and gameplay. Age doesn't have any real advantage so my youngest was able to compete on the same level. Its a simple 4 in a row principle with and the first to get 4 matching rat cards wins. The cards are thin but after a few games they look like new still, but makes them easier to shuffle than thick cards. They come in a sturdy cardboard box which is small enough to take out, and you only need a small area to play in that will fit a 4x4 grid of cards. What good is you can start playing quite quickly even if you have never played before.

Love this game
What a great game, super easy to learn and such fun to play. Its basically connect 4 with Rats and a twist. Each player starts with a deck of cards up to 3 players then you need to go into teams. Youngest goes first and you have to blind play your cards taking it in turns until you make a 4 in a row. But watch out for the cheese card or the halo cards as then any player can try and claim that space for themselves. We've played it for about 2 hours tonight, such a laugh espec when lots of cheese cards come out together and its a scramble to claim the space. My 7 and 11 year old loved it... defo a keeper in the games room.
