Good quality easy to fit

First impressions - It doesn't feel as sturdy as my old toilet seat, it's just normal plastic and feels less hard wearing - The top fitting connectors were so simple to install. A massive upgrade from my old underneath fittings which required me to reach under and around to tighten them - There are 4 underneath pads on the seat and the front 2 sit flat to the toilet rim but the back 2 are slightly raised and don't touch the toilet. This could potentially be a problem in future with the seat cracking with the constant use and pressing down on it * - The soft close fitting are what you'd expect. Silent, but slow. Overall ok, some concerns about the plastic quality and the pads not sitting flat to the seat but first few uses have been fine. It has only been used for just a few hours at the time of writing this review so I may come back and update this in a few months. * I used my old toilet seat pads to help with this by trimming down the old pad and then using some bathroom silicone to glue the old pad to the new to create a thicker pad. The back ones now sit flat to the seat but the front ones are marginally higher. It has taken the pressure off the back hinge which should reduce any potentially cracking but I think I will make the front ones slightly thicker using the old pads too so theyre level. I've added pictures to show the difference.

Well, someone said in a review the hardest job was removing old seat! How true, female who thinks she is a handyperson, took me brute force and 4 weeks to remove old fittings. This seat now has pride of place. Very simple to install, two screws bit of jiggery pokery to line it up and hey presto! 10 minutes at most. I like the idea of being able to remove completely for cleaning and added bonus it's soft close. Great value for money, easy to fit and very comfortable!

Cheaper than most but it's also lighter and so takes a while to close using gravity. Otherwise it is a good fit and easy to fit too. Not as strong as the original so we will see if it lasts.

Fitted as expected. Easy to fit and remove. Looks good and easy to clean. Soft close works well. Only point of note is the seat under lid isn't too thick/deep. Thought this would help you because it's hard to tell from pics. (The joys of online buying lol) butt, it's still comfortable to sit on for doing your business. Please always measure and check when buying something to fit something else.

The toilet seat became loose within a day of fixing. The gromits provided are not strong enough to keep the toilet seat fixed to the toilet base. I have tried pushing these back in but they spring up every time I lift the toilet seat along with ththe screws which are firmly fixed in the gromits. The toilet seat itself is flimsy compared to the original one I had when I bought the toilet. I am currently trying to get a refund but this is only possible by returning the seat, although given it is faulty and has been used seems a waste of postage. I have been offered a small refund of just over £4.00if I keep the toilet seat! I have not been able to contact the seller, overall poor quality product and customer service.

I checked my toilet measurements carefully and it fit perfectly. Good quality for the price but does not feel as robust / heavy as others I have, but so far so good.
