Arrived in only 4 days from Germany. Well built, good quality PC. Fast for all the usual tasks, start up, surfing, photo handling and editing, website building and modifying activities. I have downloaded Virtual PC to run XP Mode for an old but essential accounting program which works perfectly. All in all I am very pleased with both the product and service provided by Ankermann, there is also a bonus - it is the quietest running PC I have ever owned, I can barely hear it, only the lights betray the fact that it is switched on.Highly recommended for a good quality everyday, modern, office PC at a very good price.UPDATE 04/16I've been running this PC for 2 years now and recently upgraded to Windows 10. The upgrade omitted the DVD player so I had to find a fix for that, otherwise it is performing perfectly well for my needs. It is robust, having experienced several power cuts and restarting with NO problems. It is a quiet and quick machine, and the old Quicken 2004 accounting program that I need for my business loaded with no problems after the DVD fix (without having to use a VM). I can highly recommend it, it will serve me well for another couple of years yet before it becomes outdated.The fix for the DVD is freely available - it is a registry omission use these instructions to resolve it: Press the key combination Windows + R and type regedit in the Run dialog box.Now navigate in the left panel to the folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ atapi.Right click on the folder atapi and select New-> Key.Name the new folder "Controller0".Click the folder you created "Controller0" and right-click on the white space on the right side.Then select New> DWORD Value.Name this "EnumDevice1".Right click on "EnumDevice1" and select Modify.Enter "1" and click OK.Then close all windows and restart the PC.Good luck all, I will certainly be considering Ankermann when it is time to upgrade. this product is not all that is stated it says its a 1tb hdd but in actual fat its on 250 gb

Its fast… its got usb3..did I say… its fast!… whats not to like?

I needed to upgrade my ancient XP Pro PC and this machine fits the bill ....; silent ...fast ... has Windows 7 Pro...Was up and running within 30 mins of unpacking. a Highly recommended machine.

This item arrived in good time and is a great spec for the price. Inside everything is extremely neatly put together and I was pleased to see that the RAM takes up one slot of the available four. The USB3 "ports" at the front are just connected to cables that pass through the machine and out of the back, where you can plug them into the actual USB3 ports - it's quirky and if asked I wouldn't have bothered with them, but it does mean that you don't have to continually mess around behind the machine if you've USB3 peripherals that you connect and disconnect regularly.My unit's PSU emitted a high-pitched whine, which didn't really fit in with the whole "silent PC" thing. Ankermann sent a replacement PSU incredibly quickly so when I consider the specs with the service I really want to give 6 stars rather than 5! Very pleased.
