I had my driveway power washed. And although the workers used only a mild chlorine solution, the run off drained onto my plum trees. Suddenly they looked dead and dropped all their leaves. I was upset and in a panic. I googled the situation and was advised to add gypsum and copious amounts of water to the soil to improve aeration. I did. Gratefully the trees have come back. I am most grateful for the instruction and this gypsum.

I use it to enhance the soil as it has a lot of clay so I use it annually to allow my grass to get deeper roots. So far so good.

We got a tip from a local nursery that if we added gypsum to our soil, we could brow anything here in San Diego County. So far, he is right! This gypsum is a perfect addition!

It comes in pellet-form as opposed to powder. Perhaps it works well with plants & soil, but not suitable for mycology.
