I bought two of these to replace older remotes that were just not up to the job. This is a brilliant product, has a very good range, very easy to set up and I am very happy with it even if the cost is quite high but the spend is worth it.

Bought as a replacement for the original I got with the garage door opener. Works but doesn't seem to be quite as responsive as the original. but does the job.

Incompatible

We use it to operate our garage door, when we moved in there was only one key. We were also told it is a very expensive to replace. When we bought this we couldn't believe how easy it is to set up and with the button covered when not in use makes it perfect for us and reasonable price.

An sich hatte ich bislang die "konventionellen" Chamberlain-Handsender für den 433 MHz-Bereich mit Rolling Codes gebraucht. Da traten jedoch manchmal Probleme auf, wenn man unbeabsichtigterweise den Sende-Knopf berührt hat. Zwar ist die Sendertaste bei den früheren Versionen leicht zu bedienen, jedoch ist dies gerade manchmal ein Nachteil, wenn das Garagentor quasi "von alleine" gerade zugeht, wenn man hindurchfährt oder wieder aufgeht, wenn man gerade wegfährt. Daher hatte ich diesen Sender bestellt. Mit dem Ergebnis ist meine Frau höchst zufrieden. Das Teil sieht chic aus und die Tasten sind geschützt. Das Einlernen ist anders als bei den früheren Modellen. Hier muss man auch den Handsender auch in einen Lernmodus versetzen bevor man die üblichen Schritte beschreitet. Aber wenn man dies berücksichtigt, dann ist alles ziemlich unkompliziert. Nachtrag 01.10.15: Mittlerweise ist der Sender 1/2 Jahr in Betrieb -- er bleibt absolut problemlos und mit einer guten Reichweite.

The matte finish is going to wear off very fast. The design is good as it allows not to open the garage door by mistake but the quality of the plastic is not that great so can't give more than 3 stars.

Kann das Original nur empfehlen, da es sich leicht zu programmieren lässt und durch den Roll On Code etwas mehr Sicherheit hat.
