Surprising budget model... Raptgo does it again.
I was quite surprised at the sound that these are capable of. While there is nothing offensive about the tuning, the technicalities are where these absolutely shine. Upon first listen the layering, separation, staging, etc... is so obvious. The dynamics on these (and detail retrieval) put them near some head gear from Focal; which are known for their terrific dynamics. I don't want to leave out the tuning though, because these ARE tuned very well. The bass is not the fastest or most textured I have ever heard, but there is something addicting about it. There is no mid bass hump, so while the bass is indeed boosted, if your music doesn't have a lot of sub bass, it may not seem so. They can reach really low, and because there is a dedicated driver just for this, you can hear the separation or crossover, so there is never any bleed-over into the mids. It is marvelous!Mids are a bit recessed, but also very clear, and not thin or too thick. I find them to be just right for my ears. There is plenty of texture here; almost a contrast to the bass. Looking at the FR graph, I thought these were going to be so boosted in the 3K area that they would hurt my ears (I am very sensitive to this region), but IRL there is no shouty(ness) going on. In fact, even though these present as a V signature, the vocals, both male and female, are done VERY well on these.Treble is gorgeous on these, and while they are crystal clear, they are also not harsh nor is there any sibilance at any time. It is quite refreshing to see a budget set that has done the treble region so well.Comfort level is excellent for such a wierdly shaped IEM, and the cable is a great cable (in its own rights). I think the tips are not very good; pretty standard affair, and it looks like they didn't match them very well to the monitors. I have settled on some tips that are VERY similar to DUNU SS tips, which are shaped like foams but silicone. While the case is huge, I really love it.The filters only make a very subtle difference, and while it can be heard if you listen really closely, I don't think most people will care much in the end. This goes for the dip switches also. there is but a very subtle difference in these as well. But for this, YMMV. :)All in all, I think that these are an absolute steal for the price. You could pay in the "kilobuck" range and get very similar sound IMHO. Keep in mind that while the bass IS indeed boosted, these lean more towards analytical than they do musical (though they certainly are also musical).

Great energetic and immersive sound!
If you don't catch these on sale, don't worry about it. They are worth every bit of the normal retail price. But they DO go on sale and when that happens you can literally feel like you are stealing them. I got mine for $95. I know some people got a set for $70. Ridiculousness!!! I could write a book, or post a 20 minute video review of these (wait, I actually did that) and it still wouldn't cover how good they are. Look, they are not a basshead set, so if you are looking for that, these are probably not going to do it for you. That said the bass is fast, impactful and precise. I love it. For the rest of the FR, think about it like a rollercoaster going up the first big hill and when you get to the top you know you are about to feel like you are in a freefall. That is kind of the feeling I get with these. they have an amazing amount of sound stage for an in-ear monitor. And they are very detailed and accurate. The treble could be too intense for some, I get that, but for most people I think it is fine. They come with a good cable, excellent ear tips, tuning switch tool (you can take the edge off the treble with a tuning switch btw) and a storage case that could probably survive a fall from an airplane. Yep, all good stuff with this one folks. Keep your eye out for the next sale. You never know how low they might go... Enjoy!-BangsAudioReviews

Buy Them on Sale
This is my second pair of Raptgo IEMs. even at $139, they are cheaper than the Hook-x. But at $69 they were a steal. They are essentially a tribrid with balanced armatures, dynamic drivers and a piezoelectric. The case is rock solid, but more for presentation than transportation. They are pretty detailed, and despite the driver compliment, more analytic then bassy. I don't get much of a soundstage from IEMs, YMMV. I don't play with the switches, so can't comment on tuning adjustments. Same with filters. More of an analytic guy so default tuning is ok by me. The cable is junk IMHO. I replaced it with an AARTI balanced cable available on Amazon which came with a suitable case. Good office rig for under $100. In all, a solid deal!

BUY ANYTHING ELSE
They sounded great for the 1 hour they worked, then 1 ear bud just stopped working. Fine, it happens. Hop onto amazon for a replacement, then a few days later recieve a used set filled with ear wax. Order anything else, the quality control on these is clearly terrible.
