Don’t waste your money and time installing this piece of junk
I am so deeply disappointed in the stereo. I bought this for a gift for my boyfriend for his birthday. After a month, the button to control the volume , Power switch, and home button no longer work. You can only control it by the steering wheel. The radio has a hard time connecting to the phone and sometimes even disconnects while you’re driving. I wish I could return it, but it’s past the return date from Amazon. I highly recommend not buying this product. Amazon should not allow companies to sell products like this.

So far, so great!
Bought this unit after watching a YouTube video of the install process. Actually, we bought a different/cheaper one first, but it was trash. Returned it and got this one. That video was very helpful with tricks to remove trim, and the actual connection & installation was very straightforward. As a DIYer, it was definitely a fairly easy job, with the toughest part being one particular piece of stubborn trim. The unit connected immediately, and it looks & functions great. It was just installed yesterday, so how well it holds up remains to be seen. All in all, very pleased with the purchase!

Audio not working
I’ve had this radio for a good couple of months, and all of a sudden I can’t hear any music playing. No audio whatsoever, not even the radio works. It’s just silence. I’ve disconnected and reconnected everything, but it’s not fixing anything. At this point it’s just a decoration in my car, that does no good. 😑

Big Upgrade - Watch the Youtube video
Replaced the stock radio for my girlfriend's 2013 Nissan Altima S. Watch the video on YouTube and don't be afraid, it's super easy to follow along. This unit is slick. One quirk is that the function to skip music forward/backward on the steering wheel is now reversed, post-installation. Not a big deal, in retrospect.Build quality mimics OEM, very nice product! The hardest part was shimmying off the Nissan interior trim and not dropping the screws down the valley of death. The screen is sensitive and Apple Car Play connects quickly. This radio comes with tons of audio level adjustment features, which is a perk.Got the cheaper unit with less memory and haven't seen any issues so far. The OEM unit is horrendous in these altimas, just upgrade it already. I think the music sounds more crisp/clear after installing, maybe placebo effect?Note: The radio doesn't pick up a few of our local FM channels. The antenna strength may not be as strong as OEM. Doesn't affect much as we normally play music from bluetooth. Felt worth mentioning for my radio-listening friends.

it’s okay has a few flaws tho. read the IMPORTANT part if you have a 2017 model
installing it wasn’t that hard but took me a min like 2 hrs or 3. it looks so nice though after all that work.Carplay works fine. the problem is it disconnects randomly depending on my location. but when using the built in bluetooth it doesn’t disconnect randomly. audio quality is not the best ( the factory stereo sounds better IMOP). there is a faint white nose when i turn the volume but i can’t seem to get it to stop it’s not that annoying though. THIS IS IMPORTANT SO YOU DONT DEAL WHAT I HAD TO i have altima 2017 SL version. under the original stereo there’s a white box that’s screwed on…unscrew it and connect it to one of the cables of the new one. there’s a lot of cables but it would only fit in one. that white box is so important because it’s what makes the AC turn on without it the AC won’t work.Update: the carplay app stopped working and it wouldn’t connect for a week. i fixed it by resetting the bluetooth settings to factory. i still removed a star for this.

Great product!!
I'm very satisfied with this product, I only have one day of using it but easy installation, just be careful how you connect the cables and in my case on my first try the reverse camera didn’t work because I wrongly connected the cables but Just change the wrong cable and that's it.

Looks cool but faulty
I bought it almost a year ago and at the end I found the quality of the radio isn’t the best it’ll get you by but still has some glitches slow frame rate , lags out then turns off on me, and the Bluetooth isn’t synced correctly so you get a 2 second delay when you press play. Going to buy another stereo soon.

After 7 months. Not a good product
I must say I cannot recommend this unit. This unit cannot be updated when you go on CarPlay after three minutes of using it the picture get all distorted very cheap unit.
