Digestive supplements are always of interest to me, and when I saw that Piping Rock (a brand with some actual oomph behind it that I felt I could trust) was offering a Bromelain supplement, it seemed like a good opportunity to gain some insight about it. After taking these for several weeks, I'm pleased that there haven't been any ill effects (the chief attribute I evaluate for with any new supplement), and the overall net effect seems to be one of some stabilization in the day-to-day digestive variations in my system. As with most supplements, I didn't expect or experience any "oh wow" miracle-level impacts (nor did I expect any), but the net addition to my system balance definitely seems to be positive. The taste when swallowing the capsules isn't particularly noticeable (and one of the capsules had opened up inside my bottle, so if there was going to be any odd flavors getting noticed, it would have happened with this one), and there weren't any aftereffects related to initial stomach digestion either. No complaints here.

I like to take a digestive supplement with dinner, I feel like it helps break down my food and I feel better in myself when I’m taking it regularly. Bromelain is a natural mixture of enzymes derived from the pineapple plant, and it’s. very good at assisting protein digestion. It smells like pineapple, and the capsules are typical size and easy to swallow.

I ordered this for inflammation and digestion. I haven't taken it regularly but it seems to not give any adverse reactions. It is non allergenic and non GMO. Reading the fine print, it says it is packaged and lab tested in the USA. I probably wouldn't have ordered it if I could've seen that. I prefer things I ingest to be made in the USA or at least stated where it's made on the label so I can made an informed decision.

I bought 3 bottles and used up my first bottle and went to open this one and noticed it was pretty empty so here is a photo showing it was closed and sealed properly but I then opened and counted 54 and should have been 120.

The Piping Rock Bromelain appears to be a quality supplement. Manufactured in the US in a GMP facility. It is stated that the supplement is laboratory tested, but only an independent, third-party, certified laboratory is a reliable entity to test this product.The bottle has the lot number and expiration date stamped on the label. The bottle is not light protected; however, I could find no light sensitivity information on PubChem.The capsules are a bit larger than most, but that is due to the physical characteristics of bromelain as well as the amount.Bromelain is a good enzyme for gastrointestinal health and the Piping Rock product appears to be a good source of bromelain.
