Less is more
In construction they make you wear hard hats even when it doesn't make sense. I was told to wear them even in crawl spaces and attics. That's why I don't respect OSHA. Hardhats in small spaces cause more injuries than they prevent. And this is coming from a guy who hit him his head on a sprinkler pipe bad enough to need stitches. But this bump cap is perfect for the job. Slip it in a ball cap and it provides the protection you need at minimum lose of comfort. I worked insulation for 9 years as this is the best thing for tight spaces where hitting your head is as easy as moving your toes. If you know someone working in attics and crawl spaces get them this 3 pack of head savings sweetness and show them you care

Easily Avoid Head Injuries
I was going to buy the entire ball cap that the company offers but then I remembered I had a ball cap that I had purchased recently and never have worn. This lightweight liner fits easily into the sweat band of the cap and doesn't make the cap difficult to wear.I have a small plane I keep in a hangar. When the doors are open to the hangar the sun reflects into the hangar and often blinds me enough that I "bump" into the planes high wings or struts. Sounds dumb but it's easy to do when I'm busy and don't pay attention to where I'm walking. This simple hard liner placed inside my cap keeps me from cutting divot's in my scalp.

Neat product to keep from bashing your head !
Neat product to keep from bashing your head on pipes etc...however...the inside top portion that is nearest the crown of your head is unprotected...meaning...there should be some sort of thin rubber against your scalp. The plastic actually feels rough on us bald guys who buy something like this to protect our bald heads.Otherwise, it fits in my work ball cap well...except for the very rear (which IS padded for some reason). It shows out the back of the cap. I took some scissors and cut that portion out and rounded it off so it wouldn't cut into me.I like the concept and it feels ok...so I might order a few more if this one works out.I was initially looking for a lightweight helmet to wear and found these "Bump Caps." They have a lower rating than OSHA rated helmets, but for what I needed they fit the bill exactly ! I'm in engineering and infrastructure rooms occasionally and have bashed my head on pipes, fittings, etc...etc...etc These WILL protect your noggin from these type items by just wearing a ball cap, like I wear all the time anyway. Most of these will need some "fitting" but that's just trimming the edges with scissors and sticking them inside your preferred cap. They feel fine, but I also ordered some "hat size adjusters" (foam strips with adhesive backing on them) to stick inside the top of the bump cap to make it a more customized fit.If you're in Engineering spaces, you won't regret getting a few of these !

It can improve
It is very good, fits perfectly, does not feel or upset, does not deform the cap and is easy to put on and take off. It could have a little fabric inside like the helmets but it's something that you can put on yourself

Some extra head protection for a baseball hat.
I nearly knocked myself out when pulling a vine down from a tree. Dumb of me, yes, but I was standing directly under the branch with the vine wrapped around it. The branch was dead and snapped off and fell maybe 10ft right onto my head. I had a baseball hat on, but even so I had a nice cut and golf ball size bump. First lesson is to never be under the branch when yanking something off of it…check! Second is to wear better protection when doing any work like this in my yard. Now I wear this under my baseball hat. It’s practically invisible to others and it’s reasonably comfortable, even for long periods wearing it. I’m sure I would still have had my bell rung from the branch; but I seriously doubt I would have had the cut or the golf ball lump.Don’t confuse this with a true construction hard hat, but if you just want a little extra protection when in the yard or maybe on a hike thru a wooded area, this is the perfect addition for a baseball hat.
