I asked a repair guy if he could replace my key pad and he said it wasn’t worth it that I should just get it when I replace my garage door and motor.A whole year without a working keypad!I finally just gave this a try and I could do it myself! Not hardwired so it was easy to install.This and 2 brand new remotes for under $30 bucks!It cost me more to have the guy come out to give me an estimate!

We purchased a new home and it had no openers or keypad. The opener was an older unit but was still working great. I was afraid it would work with our unit but woohoo it dies. This worked on my 17-year-old LiftMaster Pro Model 3585 3/4 HP. One programming tip. Go by the color of your learn button, not the placement of it on your opener. After 17 years the color was a bit faded and according to the diagram it should have been a Red/Orange. It wouldn't program using the Red/Orange, so I switched to Purple and it worked just fine. This will all make sense when you see the instructions for programming. I gave it 4 stars because it was supposed to come with installation screws, but they were missing.

I purchased one of these for our LiftMaster garage door opener. I couldn’t get it to work so I returned it and purchased another assuming the first one was defective. The second one arrived and did not work either.

Working very well, great deal, high quality. Please be aware that the setup is tricky. You have to read and follow instructions carefully.
