Great HDMI 2.1 switch – ideal for multiple 4K/120Hz devices
I bought this UGREEN HDMI 2.1 switch to connect several devices to a single HDMI 2.1 input, and it works brilliantly. It handles 4K at 120Hz without any problems – the picture is sharp and smooth, and there’s no visible drop in quality compared with plugging a device directly into the TV/monitor. Switching between sources is quick and straightforward. The button on the unit is responsive, and the indicator lights make it easy to see which input is active. I really like that it supports the newer HDMI 2.1 features, so it’s perfect for modern consoles and PCs without limiting their performance. The build quality is solid, it’s compact enough to tuck away neatly, and setup is basically plug and play – just connect the HDMI cables and it’s ready to go. Overall, this is a very handy, reliable HDMI 2.1 switch for anyone with multiple high-spec devices and not enough ports on their TV or monitor. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Great value UGREEN HDMI 2.1 Switch
I recently picked up the UGREEN HDMI 2.1 Switch (3 in 1 out) from Amazon, and I’m very impressed with how well it performs. Setup was straightforward – just plug in the HDMI cables and power it up, and it was ready to go. I’m running multiple devices (PS5, Xbox, and a TV box), and this switch handles them flawlessly. The automatic switching works well when I power on a device, and there’s also a manual button for quick control. In terms of performance, it lives up to the advertised specs. It supports 4K at 120Hz and 8K at 60Hz without any signal drop or lag. Features like VRR, ALLM, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos all work as expected, which is great for gaming and watching movies in top quality. The 48Gbps bandwidth makes sure everything runs smoothly, even with demanding content. Build quality is solid, compact, and it doesn’t overheat even after long sessions. For the price, this is an excellent solution if you have more HDMI 2.1 devices than ports on your TV. Highly recommended for anyone looking to simplify their setup without losing out on high-end features.

Works a treat! 3 more 120hz ports for my TV
Works a treat and does exactly what it says on the tin. Now have 2 more 120hz ports on my TV. Both XBox and PS5 output in glorious 4k 120hz. Easy plug and play set up. The unit is small enough to be discreet and the remote for switching works well. Only downside is you have to use remote or the button on the unit to change the input rather than working automatically. Update: whilst it works well with PS5 and XSX delivering 4k 120hz. It does not play well with my laptop, every 30 seconds or so it will cut out for about a second or so. If I plug the laptop into the TV HDMI Port directly I have no issues. Still handy to have though for the 2 consoles.

Very impressed!
I’m really impressed with this HDMI switch. I recently bought a new soundbar, but my TV doesn’t support eARC, so I couldn’t get advanced sound from devices connected directly to it. My soundbar only has two inputs, one was already taken by my media player, leaving me with just one more. I decided to try this switch, and it works perfectly 100%! It passes through everything flawlessly, with no noticeable loss in quality, which is impressive since my consoles are connected to the switch, the switch to the soundbar, and the soundbar to the TV. My TV doesn’t support 120Hz or VRR, so those aren’t available, but everything else works fine, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, HDR, etc. I don’t mind the manual switching and actually prefer it. I can leave it on the Xbox input so my PS5 doesn’t automatically turn on when I power up the TV, a little thing that used to drive me crazy. Now I select the input for the console I want to use before turning it on, and it switches both the TV and soundbar to the correct input. Short version: I’m very happy with this HDMI switch. Highly recommended!

Doesn't work with Samsung Frame & PS5
As the Samsung Frame has a specific HDMI input for consoles, I was hoping to use this so I can use that input for, both, my PS5 and Xbox. I tried a cheaper switch previously and Xbox worked but the PS5 didn't. I didn't get around to seeing if the Xbox works with this but the PS5 doesn't. It seemed to work for a brief spell but, when checking the PS5 settings, the VRR and HDR features were unavailable so I wouldn't have continued with it anyway. Also the TV didn't switch automatically to the PS5 when I powered the console up, something it does when plugged in directly. However, for some reason, it decided to stop working. If I unplugged the cable from the back of the Frame controller and plugged it back in then the picture showed briefly and then disappeared. I thought I had a suspect cable but unplugging it from the switch and directly into the PS5, everything was back to how it should be. On that basis, I wouldn't recommend it. If you've got a similar setup, and it works fine, please leave a comment as I may have missed something.

Works perfectly
I purchased this product to use with my PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as my Samsung TV only has 1 x HDMI 2.1 port. The HDMI switch is powered by a USB 5V/1A port that is built into the TV so there is no need to take up a plug socket. I connected each console to the switch and then the switch into the only HDMI 2.1 port on the TV and everything works perfectly. This device supports VRR and ALLM as well as HDR and 4K so it’s perfect for modern consoles and means I no longer need to compromise to which console deserves the single 2.1 port. Everything works exactly as expected and there is no difference than if the console was plugged directly into the TV. The switch supports everything that the TV does, just adds 2 extra ports essentially. The build quality is good and the device is heavier than I was expecting, I definitely think it’s good value for money as other devices with the same spec are priced around £80. Setup was super easy and took no more than 2 mins. If you only have 1 single HDMI 2.1 port and multiple devices that can make use of it then this device is for you.

I got an HDFury Arcana to send Dolby Atmos to a Sonos Arc from an UHD Player and an Apple TV, but the HDFury only has one input. After some research, this switcher came up. Can confirm it supports 4K HDR Dolby Vision and Atmos. (Says it supports 8K, but I haven’t tested that) It’s been quite impressive so far. The switcher is quick and smooth, but it would be nice if it had an auto switch feature. Not a major issue though. It’s a nice design, and doesn’t look out of place next to the Apple TV. No issues so far. Other reviews have mentioned flickering, but I haven’t experienced that. Pairing the HDFury with this switcher has enabled me to enjoy full Dolby Atmos without the need to purchase a new eARC TV. I wholeheartedly recommend this switcher for that upgrade. I dedicated considerable time researching the reasons behind my inability to access Atmos through my existing setup. If you are trying to resolve a similar issue, I hope this review helps!

This thing works just fine. Picture quality is excellent (at 4K cause I don't hv an 8K source yet). Remote works fine. It's an IR (infrared) remote so I could add it to my universal IR remote (Harmony Hub). This switch can run without external power when at least 2 HDMI sources are turned on. If your HDMI sources are usually turned off, then you have two options: - turn on any 2 HDMI sources before the switch will wake up (and the remote can control it); or - use external power which is via USB cable (so any USB charging plug e.g 5V 1A etc). There were some comments that this switch runs warm. I measured 99F (37.2C). Power consumption: - when plugged into USB power and HDMI connections are off, USB power consumption is 2.3 Watts (this is the sleep state i.e. it doesn't sleep cause it's waiting for a remote control command) - when powered by active HDMI sources, and USB power is also connected, then USB power consumption is 0.8W. When the HDMI connections turn off, consumption moves back up to 2.3W (the "sleep" state) - when powered by sources HDMI connections and no USB power, I can't measure the power taken of the HDMI connections. But when the HDMI connections turn off, the switch turns off and so it won't respond to the remote. If you're wondering the energy cost per year when it runs with external power (2.3W): Total kWh hours in a year = (2.3W x 24hrs x 365 days)/1000 = 20kWh At 23c per kWh, Energy cost = 20kWh x 23c = $4.60/year = 40c/month So that's the price of leaving it on all the time so that it will respond to the remote. I think that's acceptable. Lastly, this switch does NOT support auto-switching unlike many switches out there. Not a deal breaker cause it's just three input and you can click the "Next" button to easily switch thru each HDMI input. Also I've used auto-switching HDMI switches before and the auto-switching sometimes doesn't work on certain sources e.g. Apple TV wld hog the connection and other sources coming online would not be switched over to. Both have pros and cons. Overall this switch is worth the money and does what it was claimed to do.

It works well but it doesn’t switch automatically.. you have to use either the remote or button on the device.
