These boots aren't heavy, have always been comfortable to me out of the box. And they last, I wear them everyday for work and no signs of needing to be replaced.

These Merrell’s are the best ones I bought in sixteen years. I wear Merrell ALL the time. These ones are actually water proof.

Merrell has always been great right out of the box, but these are more comfortable for mixed use than their standard Moab 3 hiking boots.

Fell apart within the first 2 months. I’ll never buy this brand again. Manufacturer wouldn’t honor the warranty.
