MaxxDry Glove, Boot and Shoe Dryer

Had to deep clean me boots, fully immersed in cleaning solution. I needed to dry them without leaving them outside as the weather is wet and without using the radiator. Very pleased with the performance. It has a dial timer with a switch for cool or warm setting. Set on warm, I had to use the full timer twice on the unit to completely dry me boots. Time was not an issue for me. The unit comes with extensions, great for high boots. I have dried gloves and the kids trainers with no problems. The heated air flow will not soften or melt the glues in your shoes/trainers. I keep this and use it in my garage. The fan does make a low noise, it's easy to use. Should be cheaper, but that can be said for lots of gadgets.

I bought this about a year and a half ago. I write this review as two pairs of trainers are drying. And I just thought to myself, I’m so glad I bought the thing. Hence why I came to write this review. It’s one of those things you don’t really realise you need until you start using it. I use it all the time. I kept the packaging so I re-box the thing and store it away after use. I was worried it might damage my trainers with the heat, but they all seem to be drying safely and not getting too hot. All in all, I’m incredibly pleased that I made the lead to buy one of these.

I have only had this product for a short time, but it is one of the best product I have bought. I Work on a farm and so am constantly in and out working and sometime in wellington boots for long periods of time, and when doing certian jobs no good way to say it, I get swetty which means I wears the back heel of my boots and also my socks. But since I have started to use this at night after I come in for the night, just pop them on the boot dryer turn it on for between 1-3 hours depening how bad that days been, next time I come to put them on bone dry. Since I have started to use the boot dryer I have also noticed less wear in my wellington boots and socks, for the price this cost compared to a price of decent wellington boots ( I have the muck boots) it is well worth its value and is already saving me money. It is good to note with this product it isnt a boiling heat that comes out the vents just a gentle heat, so can take some time to dry. But once its been completely dry and you use it frequently its drys alot faster. There would be one thing I would change on it and that would be to be able to block the front vents when not in use to help with airflow but this can be done just by keeping a pair of gloves or something else on it. Overall I can highly reccoment this product especically if you are a farm worker or someone who works outdoors alot and gets damp feet.

I was a little sceptical about these dryers to start with. they didn't seem to be drying my boots very well. Part of me wondered if they were even working. Turns out the hot setting is not very warm at all, I have been putting my boot on to dry for 2 3hr sessions and it just about takes them from soaked to crispy. I did have to do a small modification and elastic band a bag over both the smaller two (glove) stands. It also helped prove the air was flowing properly. They are expensive, they feel a bit flimsy with s full size boot on them. They look neat and they work well... with a bit of fine tuning. if be interested to see how well they worked on my snowboard boots. They did dry my son's scout boots really well after a river session. I'd buy another one. I think for the final star I would like to see them a little more rugged AND better instructions/user manual. I know it seems daft, but I very nearly sent them back because they just didn't seem to be working.

I am a motorcyclist and got this dryer specifically for those days where the weather here in the UK is rain with a chance of further downpours. I got stuck out in a truly biblical level of rain and my leather bike boots and winter gloves were beyond soaked through. It took about 3 hours on the standard setting with no heat to get everything bone dry and ready to wear again. Dint want to use the heat setting on my leather boots for fear of ruining them so I can't comment on how the heat function. Have used several times now with the weather being what it is and I have zero complaints. It is well put together and does not feel flimsy, it sits comfortably in the corner of my entrance way and is just a quick turn of the dial to get everything working. Nice and quiet too. Putting serious thought into buying another so I can have one at work too!!

Came home today after a 30 mile ride in what can only be described as a monsoon tidal wave combined with the last days of civilisation. Soaked through to the skin with only my toes remaining dry. My winter gloves were wetter than an otters pocket. But so far, 90 minutes on the dryer and the gloves are almost bone dry and the 2 neck tubes used are also done. All ready to repeat for the next 2 days. Cracking bit of biker kit and economical too.

Christmas presents for family, at the moment it is working fine, takes at least 180 min to dry a wet boot but helpful and quite good as energy consumes

Takes 4 boots or.a.mix of.boots and gloves upto 4. Often needs to be used for 2 or.more complete cycles to dry boots thoroughly to the outside. Needs an easier.method of setting the timer as.anyone with rheumatic hands or any weakness in the hands will not be able to set the dial for timing the drying

With 3 boys the wet gear in my house is overwhelming. And the smell is horrid. Since getting this dryer, I'm able to tackle the wet stuff fast and we end up reducing the possibility of mold and wet gear substantially . Also, the boys love having their boots be warm for school every day in the winter

Das Gerät arbeitet gut, wenn es den nach der Lieferung von einer Elektrofachkraft umgebaut wurde. Das Gerät ist nach der Lieferung zuerst einmal nicht zu benutzen in Europa! Der Netzstecker ist nach US Norm mit drei Flachstiften. Der Netzstecker mit drei Kontakten lässt auch vermuten, das es sich um ein geerdetes Gehäuse handelt. ( Nein ist nicht ) Das Kabel am Netzstecker hat trotz drei Kontakten nur zwei Adern ( Blau und Braun ). Das gelb/grüne Erdungskabel fehlt in der Leitung. Das Gerät musste für die sichere Benutzung in Deutschland von einer Elektrofachkraft zuerst einmal mit eine neuen Zuleitung versehen werden. Das Gerät hat keine GS oder TÜV Prüfung. Richtig wäre ein Schild : Nicht in Europa benutzen !

Works great

Schuhe werden innerhalb von 1 bis 2 Stunden trocken. Lautstarke ist nicht störend, finde ich. Ideal für Kinderschuhe.
