Rough and tough watch
I have really enjoyed this watch. It is rough and tough. I’m a mechanic at an automotive shop and it has survived a lot and I just got it since Christmas. Make sure you get a screen protector if you purchase this and I like the Velcro watchband in the environment that I use it in it’s easy to clean and it holds the watch snuggly and place on my wrist, but all in all a great great watch.

Working man smart watch
I’m not one that needs my phone on my wrist. This watch tracks my health stats and workouts to share with my phone. It has the capability to answer my phone and download apps but that is not the feature I wanted. I like the durability and usefulness of this watch.

Poor functionality
I purchased this smart watch over the name brand one's, the price was decent and the reviews were positive for the most part. I chose a bundle option the came with a mix of 6 bands some velcro and fabric two metal and two rubber, two chargers, and two extra screen protectors. The bands came with a tool to remove links from one band and extra pins. I'll start with the pros of this smart watch... This smart watches battery is good. As long as you don't have the rise to wake feature on it will last over a week before needed to be recharged. It has surprised me with how tough it actually is. I'm an auto mechanic and wore it everyday while working and I don't have a scratch on it. It has been bumped, banged, dropped, hit with oil and tools, still flawless and perfect. The screen is crisp and clear, responsive with no lag as long as it's dry. Any moisture on the screen or fingers it will struggle with touch inputs. My family says it's a bit heavy but I have heavier watches so I thought the opposite. I can wear it day or night with any issues, unlike some other watches I have. Now the cons I've had... the overall functionality is questionable. When setting up the device it would only import some of my contacts, my most used ones wouldn't show up no matter what I did. I uninstalled the app and did a hard reset on the device multiple times, only for it to do the same again and again. After contacting the company's tech support they just told me it should be working fine and didn't really offer much help. When I get a text message or email, the device will play the ringtone for the person or a notification tone for email but nothing shows on the device. None of my texts, emails, WhatsApp or Facebook messenger actually are visible on it. I can make calls to the select contacts it would import and answer in coming calls, but nothing from any messages shows on it. When trying to play or control music it is hit or miss. It will show the device connected to my phone but it won't allow control of volume or play options. The sound will play from the devices speaker but I have to pause, play, and adjust the volume from my phone. The worst part is the app. It takes forever to sync, sometimes over five minutes, if at all. It will show its connected on my phones Bluetooth and data, but will not show up in the app. Trying to change the watch faces is terrible. After selecting one it just says data preparation and does nothing. I have to force close the app and restart it to try again before just giving up. Unbelievably frustrating trying to use this horrible excuse for an app.

So far, so good.
My wife bought this for me for Christmas since I was looking for a new smart watch. This was a brand I had seen multiple times and most people had good things to say about it. This review is an initial review only as I've only had it for a few weeks. So far battery life has been excellent. I charged it up 3 days ago and today it sits at 60% charge so no complaints about battery life at this point. The watch was initially extremely difficult to set up as the recommend app did not connect easily and the instruction in the box were not very clear. After doing a little research I discovered that Carbinox has it's own branded Android app and that connection went very smoothly with no glitches. If you get this watch, do not use the app recommended in the box if it is not the Carbinox app. Go straight for the Carbonix app. The band is extremely comfortable. Normally I find these rubberized bands to be too stiff and difficult to find a comfortable size between too loose and way to tight. With this band I was able to find a comfortable place to set it straight out of the box. However, the band stays do tend to walk and cause the excess band to flop around at the most inconvenient times. I'm working on that. It seems the closer I get the stays to the buckle the better they stay. There are a multitude of watch faces to choose from in the Carbinox app so anyone should be able to find something to suit their tastes. The watch does heart beat and blood pressure checks although I have not had the opportunity to test their accuracy, something I will do in the future. The step counter accuracy is thus far eluded me. When doing actual exercise, walking for exercise, it seems to be fairly accurate as compared to my wife's smart watch. The step counts seems to be fairly close after we take our walks together. However, normal movement throughout the day seems to give far more credit for steps than my wife's does for her, she thinks I'm cheating! Durability seems to be pretty good thus far, something this brand seems to sell itself on. I have banged it off of several walls and household objects with no ill effect to date. I am probably not the guy they are advertising it for but I do tend to be very rough with my daily watches. G-Shocks have been my daily go to rough wear watches to date, time will tell on this one. As I said, this is a short term initial review but so far, so good.

Good for those who do hard work
I've worn this watch for almost 2 months now. I work in blue collar construction and it has survived with no scratches. The dust proof and water proof features are working well so far, though I make sure not to submerg it, it has survived the rain. I changed to the Carbinox metal band as the rubber held more sweat and had slight chafing. The different features are easy to locate and use.

Good looking tough watch
Great smart watch! Easy to use. Good useful features that seem to be pretty accurate. Battery seems like it last forever. I usually charge mine once a week but still has 20-30% when I charge it so it will last longer than that the way I use it. Good looking watch too! And the most important thing to me is its tough as nails. I have put this watch to the test over several months at work and it’s held up great. It’s got some scratches around the edge but the screen is still like brand new. All around great watch! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good smart watch!
