Becoming hooked on buying Ice Matcha Lattes at Tealux was getting expensive. Dunkin Donuts was cheaper, but still an expensive habit & inconvenient. Had to find an alternative! This fit my addiction at a reasonable cost. I add water, milk, ice & a splash of vanilla syrup and blend. It tastes as good as the $6 chain bought latte. Also know the ingredients I'm drinking & can sweeten (or not), to my own liking. I'm on my 3rd purchase.

This was my first matcha powder I purchased and I was very pleasantly surprised. I appreciate that it's organic and it tastes very fresh. I also love that it makes me feel slightly energized and doesn't give me jittery caffeine high that a lot of coffees do. The size is great to try a bunch of matchas however you like them before committing to a fuller size container. I've only tried this in iced matchas, but they are delicious! I don't know how this would taste in hot matchas, but I know the cool refreshing temperature of an iced matcha fits the flavor profile of this one well. My only complaint is that I feel like it takes a lot of scoops of this stuff to get a good matcha flavor. The serving size is I believe 1/4 tsp or 1/2 tsp, and I probably use 2-4 tbsps to get a good flavor. However, I do like a pronounced and distinct matcha flavor so if you like something more subtle this would be perfect for you. Overall, it's a fantastic product!

Disclaimer: I am not a matcha snob I love this, I use it in my ice creams and it creates a great creamy sweet and earthy green tea flavor. I've mixed it with peach and orange and both were really good, I definitely recommend it for that.

First a disclaimer: this is my very first time ordering, making, and drinking matcha. The pouch is only 1.06 ounces, which is smaller than I expected. It says there are 30 servings inside, but that must mean you only use a very small amount per cup. The instructions call for 1/2 teaspoon, though I used my matcha scoop and eyeballed it instead of measuring. When I made my first cup, I realized afterward that I added too much water (instead of the 2 ounces suggested on the back). The powder itself smelled earthy and was a bright green color. I had heard matcha would taste earthy or bitter, but mine ended up tasting more like a mild hot green tea—likely because I diluted it too much. I also didn’t feel much of an effect from the caffeine, which again may have been because of how I prepared it. I originally purchased this for the health benefits and because I had a matcha tea kit to try. For me, it wasn’t really a good substitute for coffee, and I don’t think I’ll reorder. That said, I’m sure those with more experience preparing matcha may have better results.
