Feels sturdy enough to do the job
I bought this to use for a Eurorack modular system mounted in Tiptop Audio HEKs. I was hoping I would be able to stand it vertically to minimize the amount of desk space this would use. Unfortunately I couldn't as it weighed enough that it would have tipped over. It works well enough horizontally, but not helped by that the case is perhaps a bit bulkier on the whole than is necessary for my needs.Even when empty this case is somewhat heavy, but it looks and feels sturdy enough to withstand touring (not what I'll be using it for, it's more just for protection when I go traveling to visit family for a while). The steel ball corners reassure that it won't come apart at the seams easily. The back panel access is a good idea and I can see how it would be really useful for actual mixers, but in this case I'll probably just end up using it to store printed manuals and spare patch cables underneath the modular. The front 3U may not be as useful as it first seems because anything with any depth on the "6U" (which is actually 7U) section could obstruct at least 1U of that space depending on depth.Limited to my use case with this, I've found that the front cover is deep enough to not crush patch cables, meaning I can leave the modular patched up and put the cover back on - certainly useful. For anyone else looking for a Eurorack modular case if using 19" rack mounts, this could be a great lower cost alternative to the usual expensive Eurorack cases. The extra 1U (or more if you count the front 3U) would easily lend itself to a row of 1U tiles, if you can find or put yourself together a 19" rack housing for 1U tiles.

Nice little rack
The case is generally well made but more care could have been taken whilst fitting the hardware, overall though a great case
