This music is definitely very good for the digestion…..
BUY THIS NOW!!! This is THE soundtrack for anyone who loves this film and it’s music, it’s worth every penny so grab it whilst it’s still here as I believe there’s going to be a limited number of copies made. Pretty much what’s on the film is included, and lots more too. I’ve had a few different copies of this soundtrack over the years and one niggle that I’ve had with all of them is that the music played during the Mexican stand-off (Il Triello) was never on any of the soundtracks as it was played on the movie, which was for me completely frustrating as it’s my favourite track. Lots of other versions included here too, some rather strange I have to say but enjoyable non the less. The box and the accompanying artwork etc is beautiful. There’s a really interesting booklet with some great pictures and information that has only resurfaced until recently. It’d be great if this incarnation was available on vinyl but anyway, you won’t be disappointed. Go ahead….

A review of the new 3 disc version of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
This is the definitive soundtrack of the greatest western ever made and is absolutely superb, a wonderful tribute to Ennio Morricone who sadly passed away in 2020.My advice; if you enjoy watching 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' as well as listening to the film score; buy this original soundtrack CD album as it also includes many previously unreleased tracks which includes the actual film version (with cannon fire) of the famous theme and alternative versions of some of the music used in the film.As it is so good and is my new favourite album; I give it a 5 star rating.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly original soundtrack - Morricone's triumph
This is one of the most memorable film soundtracks ever. Sergio Leone's direction was a breath of fresh air, and his use of music in his films was an integral part of his style and the films successes. Morricone would often write the score, then Leone would film around the music, integrating it into the film in a way not really seen before. Doing things this way added an extra depth to the film and packed a real punch.Morricone uses a series of odd rhythms, instruments and wordless vocals to provide a musical backdrop to this new type of horse opera. It's innovative, and best of all the score can be listened to in complete isolation from the film with total enjoyment. This release is pretty good, with several bits of music not included in the original release. These really add to the album. The sound is very good. There is a booklet with memorable pictures of Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef taken from the climactic showdown. All in all a decent release of the greatest film soundtrack ever.

Includes tracks not always available
Have enjoyed Ennios work for many years. This is no exception but am disappointed that the final track is not extended version with chime and final crescendo without trumpet

Definitely the ORIGINAL soundtrack, unlike many available
There are so many inferior copies of the "dollar trilogy" soundtracks floating around, it's great to have the true original, as this is. Always a pleasant change from mainstream rock and pop.

The greatest Ennio soundtrack of all time now in full remastered glory
I bought this for a friend who treasured his vinyl LP for decades. He has confirmed this the ultimate remastered version of the original, and with all the bonus tracks too, this collection is incredible. The ultimate Ennio soundtrack with the ultimate remastered CD - You cant get better and five stars is just not enough.
