I ordered these COYEITO brand hearing aids for my husband after I read that people with hearing loss are more likely to develop Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. He's been hard of hearing for as long as I can remember and I don't want him to miss out on things because he doesn't hear well. It was determined by both an Ear Nose, and Throat doctor, as well as an audiologist, that my husband most likely developed hearing loss from listening to extremely loud music throughout his teens.We both REALLY wanted these to work for my husband! Unfortunately, the pair we received was defective and my husband sent them back. They were brand new, never worn, and yet produced a deafening whistle. I have excellent hearing and couldn't get them anywhere near me because the whistling was literally very painful to my ears!In addition to reading the enclosed materials, I read numerous websites about what causes feedback with hearing aids and they all said pretty much the same thing, turn down the volume. I also watched several videos and they also said pretty much the same thing. Unfortunately, the screwdriver that was supposed to control the volume was NOT included with his hearing aids.I looked at the materials that came with these hearing aids and there were two primary reasons they gave for the whistling... One was a build up of ear wax, which very obviously isn't the reason because they'd never been worn. The other reason was that the volume is turned up too high. They suggest decreasing the volume. We tried that but unfortunately, our package, which we opened together and laid out everything in front of ourselves as I normally do, didn't come with the required screw driver needed to increase or decrease the volume.We finally determined the ones we received are defective and had to be returned. I'm hesitant to order the same product again for fear we'll encounter the same problem. These COYEITO brand hearing aids were attractive to us because they were very affordable. Professional fitted hearing aids are incredibly expensive. On average the cost is $2,500. But they can run anywhere from $1,000 to over $6,000. My husband has had two different sets of professionally fitted hearing aids but neither were covered by insurance. So it was cost prohibitive to go with professionally fitted hearing aids again.The quality of OTC hearing aids is now often very good, and we wanted to give them a try. Unfortunately, because of our experience, I can't recommend these hearing aids. I really wanted them to work for my husband because his hearing loss is a pain in the butt for me, but also because he's missing out on conversations with me and others.I also want him to be able to hear in case of emergency, and obviously I don't want him at risk for Alzheimer's or dementia!My husband returned these and hopefully, we'll find something that works!

I purchased these in ear amplifiers to solve the problem of my over the ear hearing aids getting caught on my glasses or when I wear a mask. These are easy to use, charge quickly and adjusting the volume with the enclosed tiny screwdriver is a snap. I appreciate that they are marked L and R to avoid confusion. I have been wearing over the ear hearing aids for five years now and these in the ear amplifiers work well especially when I wear a mask or glasses. The price seems very reasonable.

I got them on-time. I’m in the process of trying them. The noise cancellation system better than others. Easy to charge and hold the charge so far well in the 16+ hrs of daily use. It feels a little larger and bulkier than the ones I had before from HueHearing but I like them. I’ll review again in a few weeksUpdated review: used the left one for 20 days and I’d say are good but not as expected: the background is really amplified over the voices and barely can hear the voices. Try adjusting the sound but not much difference. In quiet places (without background noise) works ok. I’m still trying to figure out how to get the best out of it. I’ll review it again in a few weeks.Updated review 1-Sep-2023Trying everything possible but background noise is stronger amplified than voices. Also, the cups are coming off very easy and could get stuck in your ear.I’d not buy this again. If I could I’d return it.
