A wonderful time
This kit is fun. A thing to keep in mind tho is the instructions are very picture driven. Do not throw away any pieced you punched out until the end also if not you my toss a piece needed later. This is a very intriguing, slightly tedious. Though it looks great for images.

Beautiful! And so fun!
I am collecting DIY miniature houses for next Christmas. I built several last year and they were beautiful. So far I have bought 14 to gift.Just a warning, Amazon has the best quality sets. Other companies I have bought from I ended up returning. Too cheap looking. The lighting is a little tricky but take your time. These miniature houses are meant to be fun to build. Expect to be delighted!

Great Gift for a Booklover
Bought this as a gift and the recipient loved it. They assembled it easily and it is now proudly displayed in their home.

Missing part!!!
Nice/cute, but we failed to account for every single piece before we started putting it together, so we can’t return it. You would think that all the pieces would be in the box! Nope!

Fun & Creative but not for beginners
All parts were there, unlike what some others have experienced, but the directions (like nearly all of these Chinese products) are less than adequate. This one had no written instructions at all, just photos and the overall assembly after the individual pieces were assembled was mostly guess work. I had difficulty lining up the plastic with the unlying framework. That was all as a result of difficulties in getting proper alignment of the base and supporting framework in sync. Another drawback is that in order to turn on the light the finished product has to be lifted up since the mechanism is underneath. As viewers can see from the photos, the final finished product is really cute. I veered from the directions on several things, either because the details were hard to work with (flowers are VERY time consuming) or I just wanted my own originality. All in all a nice finished product, but not for beginners and is best created by anyone who can read the Chinese mind, since directions on some parts are pretty vague.

Fun Build
The media could not be loaded. Really enjoyed building this book nook. Great end product and very detailed. Everything, and I mean every object in this house had to be built. Not easy but I liked the challenge. The wood pieces are good quality no parts were missing. The thing that I wished was different was the printed paper decorations. They had to be cut out and glued to wood pieces. It would have made it look so much cleaner if these were sticker.

Waaaaay too difficult
This product is very difficult and requires you to cut and glue every single piece. I was hoping for more stickers and precut areas. The directions are also very difficult to understand and find specific pieces. Do not recommend.

Many missing pieces
The kit came quickly. The quality of the wood pieces and printed items is good. The instructions are fairly complete, altho pictures are very small. Would like a pdf version so i can see the actual details. Also, be ready to do your own wiring, bc its loose wires, loose lamps, and a battery pack w loose wires to all be spliced together by you.It was a little overwhelming, but I gave it a good effort. I ran into difficulty almost immediately on page 1. This kit has a lot of very tiny beads, bells, plastic bits and strings. They come all together loose in 2 ziploc bags. There is no real organization with the numbering of pieces vs the order of assembly. So the first thing I did was carefully open and organize the pieces in a little tray (paint palette works great). Examining them vs the printed instructions to see what was what. I started on page 1, making a snowman. The eyes and scarf ribbons were missing, even after triple checking everything i had. So i cut my own eyes and ribbons out of household stuff. The hat and nose were 1 piece of plastic, which when i cut them apart, the nose flew on the floor and the dog ate it. So i had to whittle a nose out of a pen cap. But finally I have 1 piece done. I do the tree with its tiny bead ornaments, ok. Then i start the 3rd piece, gift box. The box is the size of the end of my pinky, crazy tiny. You are folding it out of basically regular thickness paper. So be ready for that. Then 4th piece, a small sign. U need to glue paper onto red wood background. I am missing the entire N plate that piece was in. That N plate also makes santa chair, the star on the front of the box, not minor items. I am not willing to whittle all these things by hand out of stuff in my house.I was 1.5 hours making these items, and not even done with first page of instructions, and missing critical parts. Not interested to waste any more time to find what else is missing. Ill just buy my mom something else.Preferably assembled !
