Comfy and stay put
I’m a pretty rough sleeper so as a young child I would wake up every morning with matts in my curly hair. My mom tried to make me wear a sleep cap, but I hated things on my head. We tried everything and just settled for a silk pillowcase. Fast forward to adulthood, I knew I needed to wear a sleep cap because of wanting to protect my curls. I’ve tried many and usually wake up with them on my night stand. Not this one. It’s very comfortable and doesn’t feel tight around my head, yet it stays in place.

Not for this- but perfect for that!
PROS- very well made. Very soft and not too thick or thin. Washes very well. Very pretty.CONS- I'm torn on this. My con is that the cap slips off my head at night. So for me it can't really fulfill its intended purpose. HOWEVER, I can't stand anything "fitting" on my head. I get headaches. I purchased taking that risk and realized that I'm better off with a satin pillowcase.BUT!!! It makes the PERFECT beanie! Again I can't wear traditional beanies because they give me headaches, their too hot, and tear my hair up.Review as a beanie: perfect if you don't want anything too hot or tight on your head and want to preserve your hair! It's also very stylish!I also use it to set my curls...like a plopping hat!

A little loose but it's got the spirit.
Just to qualify this review. I bought this for the specific purpose of wearing around the house (WFH full time no zoom) and walking my dog in the mornings without having to undo my hair first thing. For that purpose, it is absolutely perfect. I took off one star for the reasons listed below.Pros:- Looks like a slouchy beanie-type hat and not a bonnet, slouches nicely- True to color- Pretty lightweight and breathable despite being double layered, though it can get toasty if you're outside- Holds all my hair if banded or in a puff bun (comparison: I cannot get my hair in a standard bonnet)Cons:- I wouldn't use this as a sleeping bonnet. The elastic is a little too forgiving, so if you turn at all in your sleep, goodbye bonnet. It has flown off if i turn my head too quickly after a few hours of wear. Wouldn't risk it outside for an extended period as it's so light you might not notice it's gone.- The clothing tag is somewhat distracting. I wish it was either hidden inside or placed right next to the adjustable strap opening so that I could simply turn the cap under and not have an ad on my forehead. I used a seam ripper to remove it- Oil does seep through! I don't use a ton but if I moisturize and seal before putting it on it does get oil spots. They dry out without staining so it's fine, but keep that in mind if you plan to leave the house with it on.

i purchased the Savana Mulberry, this Pure Silk Hair Black Head Scarf OEKO-TEX Certified, and the Black Slouchy Beanie Headwear Lightweight Bamboo Satin Night Sleep Turban Satin and the Savana was the winner. The Pure silk was much too long and difficult to tie. Fell off in the middle of the night unless i tied it very tight. But if i did that, the baby hairs that framed my head would flatten down in such a way that my head looked a mess in the morning. Maybe if they included tips on tie methods, that would be helpful. The Slouchy Beanie was nice and soft and look the most "glamourous" of the bunch, but it wouldnt stay on my head at night. No way to tight it down either.Th Savana Mulberry stayed on albeit is a bit difficult to place on. I am hispanic and have wavy to curly hair that goes beyond mid back. Takes a few tries to get my hair in the cap without mashing it. Stays on and looks like it did the day before in the morning. I look a bit funny with it on though ;)

Incredibly soft and comfortable, and it keeps my bleached hair from getting tangled while sleeping. Since I dyed my hair pink, my hair has gotten damaged and dry, so any tangles could potentially result in split ends when combed too hard. I will say that this fits well for lounging, but when I sleep it's a bit too loose and tends to come off so I have another option that does the job a bit better even though it is less comfortable.I want to get more of these since I work from home and my appearance doesn't matter so much. My hair is rather thick, straight, and hits mid chest. The bonnet clearly has more room clearance for more hair, so I think for ladies with thick, curly hair it could be a really great fit!

Wow!! Love it!
To all of my Natural Kinky Coily & Fluffy Hair Beautiful Sista’s! This Satin Lined Sleep.. got it today tried it on. Fits great. I do have a small head with kinky curly hair.. this cap definitely keeps in the moisture, compared to what I was using recently that sucked the moisture right out! Had to desperately find a cap on Amazon.. when I put it on about 5 minutes later I could feel my head warm up, not hot & being it’s cold winter weather at this time. It’s a comfortable feel of heat. After I took it off after 30 minutes my hair felt protected and moisture still on my hair, not wet but natural moisture same as when I put it on & left it on for about 30 minutes. Just FYI: inside the description does say: 95% Bamboo Viscose, 5% Spandex, Lining: 100% Polyester, now idk because the description says “ Satin” yet it’s lined on the inside. I got the dark gray one. For me I needed anything that worked from what I just had. #ARag..I did cut it and made a cute hair tie when I wear my hair up Lol.. however as for the cap it works for me. Somewhat stretchy along the perimeter of the cap, with lots of room. I can actually pull this cap over my head all the way down to my neck, again I have a small head.. for large heads.. it maybe somewhat snug gotta keep it real because it’s a bit snug for me around my head, yet not tight.. will update when I sleep at night. Great cap, just needs to be Satin if it is.. Seller please state that in the description. Not good to mislead buyers.. that’s all I’m saying..

I recommend this item & this seller.
The cap does effectively cover coarse, curly-wavy hair and I would say that it could equally be useful for sleep or for fitness. The material is very soft - spandex. The colour of the product is accurate to the photo. The product arrived with no imperfections; its construction was completely professional. The item was shipped and delivered rapidly and professionally. Those who do not have a head size considered generally small might find this product very tight, even a little uncomfortable. If your head shape is more ovular, from crown to chin, this also might not be the best look. If the degree of roundness at the back of the head is more subtle than pronounced, the cap probably will not stay in place on its own. For daytime use, one could try pairing it with a velvet headband - such as are used with hair veils and headwraps - for a potential solution.I would definitely purchase from this seller again. Great experience with this shoppe.

Bon produit.
