Clinical Biochemistry Made Ridiculously Simple (MedMaster) 2nd Edition

The media could not be loaded. The book had very smooth pages, it’s definitely a beginner book and intro for bio chemistry, the map comes in an envelope on the back of the book. The map is a guidance when reading the book. It’s a fun way to learn. I have not read it yet but I will start this week.

I found this book to supplement my Biochemistry class and keep reinforcing the important points. The map is a must for using this book correctly- it even shows the glycogen disorders at the point they stop in the cycle.

Very good book if you have some familiarity with the subject. Very helpful, easy reading, the strict biochemical part. For busy folks.

The author had a great idea in trying to create on big map that shows all the major pathways in the body. However, the explanations are very heady, unclear, and really make no attempt to make the complex topics accessible. It really does not feel like a serious effort ways made towards this, despite the title and frankly, I suspect shenanigans with the Amazon ratings. I cannot imagine a real human being considering this book ridiculously some or simple at all or anything other than very complex.

Did not get the map. I bought this book twice as brand new but I received a used version twice with book books missing the map inside.
