Charger compatible with Ember Smart Mug 2 (Black)

Absolute garbage. It is not well designed and broke immediately after the 30 return period. The charging pins are GARBAGE and will break/not longer retract/extend to make contact and charge your cup. RUN from this product. If you think you're saving a little..... YOU ARE MISTAKEN.

Works good. The origonal one spring broke that makes contact with the cup. Probably got wet. I couldnt fix it. My cup is an Ember smart cup.

The product stopped charging the cup. It worked barely for 3 months and now its useless. The charging pin is stuck and would not get released in spite of best efforts.

Ember makes a nice, heated mug, but the charging coasters are defective along with the app. This is my third charging coaster, my first one stopped working within 9 months, the replacement from Ember under warranty failed in less time than the original. I refuse to purchase another one that I know will fail, at this point it seems intentional by Ember for the bottom line. This product is exactly what I was looking for. My Ember mug is back to working since starting to use this new charger. I will have to wait and see how this functions long term, but it is off to a good start and Ember has set the bar low.

Well, it lasted 14 months before it failed. Like other reviewer have noted, the pogo connector fails and stops making contact. Same thing happened to me, as you can see in the photo. I thought perhaps there was corrosion or debris making it stuck, but it appears the spring itself has broken.

My Ember 2 mug was no longer charging because the pins on my charging coaster became recessed (pushed down) and no longer provided a good connection to my mug for charging. I ordered this replacement and it works just as good as the original Ember coaster. The coaster is pretty generic and does not look as nice as the original coaster but heck....it works. Hopefully, this coaster does not develop the same pin problem as the original Ember coaster. See pics for picture of this Safe amp coaster for pins and look with an Ember mug. Since my Ember mug is still under warranty (12 months), I contacted Ember and within a week, they sent me a new Ember charging coaster (that looks much better than the Safe amp coaster). So now I have two charging coasters but that is ok. Good to have a backup.

This product broke after 6 weeks. The one pin would not come up. I was very careful using this so I know it was the poor manufacture of the charger.

I found I was exceeding the battery capacity on my Ember mug. Bought one of these for the desk and put the other near the coffee pot. Now I can keep the battery in the Ember Mug charged all the time.

Funciona perfeitamente para minha caneca Ember. Caso aconteça da base quebrar, este produto substitui o original. Recomendo!

I love my ember mugs although the design of the pins on the charging coaster is poor, so I needed a replacement. This does not come with a UK ready plug so there is the extra expense and hassle of sourcing an adapter. Mine is in the cupboard
