I bought 6 of these as gifts because I love mine. Every picky person thought theirs was perfect! It has a comfortable handle. It's large so you don't have to keep refilling. It has a matching straw - that you aren't forced to use. Without the straw, it is leakproof! It keeps cold drinks COLD and if you are like me, hot drinks will unfortunately take a long time to cool down. It also has a strong carry handle. It's easy for even kids to clean. It's also easy to travel or camp with because it fits in the side pocket of a back pack and will not spill or leak.

I have been a Stanley girlie for a year. I had one from dicks sporting goods and the handle fell off. Customer service was no help. So, I have been on the hunt to replace my Stanley. I did a TON of research. Like an embarrassing amount. I already have a hydro flask bottle. I just wanted a tumbler with a handle that would keep my drink ice cold, be cute, easy to carry everywhere, go in my bag for work, and not become moldy. 1: the ice retention is not bad. It’s not like the Stanley, but the ice lasts my work shift and that’s fine. I almost bought the swig life mega mug because its ice retention is great, but it is just too top heavy and knocks over too often. This ello port tumbler is very stable and does not knock over easily unlike the swig life. 2: this cup is cute and functional. Love the color and the handles. Very comfortable to hold because of handle placement and the silicone on the body. I wish it had silicone on the base so that I could set it down quietly. My Stanley was always so loud. 3: this tumbler is easy to carry, and can go in my bag without spilling if I close the cap. With the straw in place it will spill but nothing like my Stanley. The lid is slightly raised so much less spills. I debated the brumate Era and Hydro jug traveler because of the spill proof claims! This one is spill proof. I love that. 4: easy to clean!!!! I almost bought the hydro jug traveler, but the mold reviews really stopped me. I thoroughly clean my tumbler every day so I really wanted a tumbler that would be easy to clean. This one is very easy to clean! The parts are simple and efficient. So why only 4 stars? The ice retention, it’s just not as good as I hoped but still really good! I’m comparing this cup to 45$+ cups. This one was 29$. It’s a very comparable cup and even if still pricey for some, it’s a good deal in my opinion. I don’t regret my purchase, I’m enjoying using this cup and I won’t be purchasing another Stanley. Update!! I originally gave this tumbler 4 stars. I’ve come back to change it to 5 stars. This thing has amazing ice retention. I’ve been using it a little more than 2 weeks. I’ve left ice in it every night to See how it does. Initially I only filled it halfway with ice and by the next morning it would be melted but when filled almost to the top with ice. It stays!! I filled with ice and water at 1:30 pm on Friday, It stayed with ice until 9:45 am Saturday. The cup was still half full of ice. I absolutely love this cup. I want it in more colors!!

I personally think these are better looking than the Stanley's This is my daily water mug and its great. With handles on the lid and side, its easy to bring along if I'm moving around the office. The lid sits nice and tight and doesn't leak. I have not tested the flap without the straw in it, so I don't know if that's secure or not. It does keep things pretty cold. I would say a full cup of ice will easily last 24 hours and even after the ice has melted, the water is still pretty cold for several more hours. My only wish is the base was just a bit narrower as it does not fit the cupholders in my car. This mug stays on the desk at work! :( Still definitely a great product at a great price!

I wanted to try this tumbler because it has a handle on top and on the side. I thought that was a great feature. Plus the option of using the straw or taking it off is a great feature as well. The quality is great, it’s nice and sturdy without being too heavy and I like that it’s stainless steel on the inside. I love the color and the size is perfect for my iced coffee. The straw part is easy to take off and clean and I love that you can place the mouth piece on either side of the handle so it’s great if you’re right or left handed. I like to drink my coffee for a few hours throughout my morning and it stays cold for many hours. I saw some comments that it’s difficult to put the lid on, although I find that I have to try a couple of times to get the lid on just right for it to latch on properly it’s not a big deal for me. Just start where you want it to end and it will close properly. I love it so much I plan on getting my parents one too.

I wanted to give this tumbler a couple of weeks of use before writing this review and I am so pleased to say that this was exactly what I needed and exactly as described in the Item Details section. I purchased the white so I can have a neutral canvas if I want to personalize the cup. Compared to other tumblers, both popular/expensive and dupes/cheaper, this is a lightweight but still sturdy alternative that I think is a better value and an overall better bottle. Even though I don’t like ice cold water I decided to test out how long the tumbler would keep it cold. After 8 hours it was legit as cold as it was at the beginning of the day! And now the whole reason I bought this particular tumbler… THE HANDLES!! I have been searching high and low for months for a tumbler that had both a side handle and a top handle. Though I’d seen other tumblers with top handle attachments, they were for larger sizes (64 oz and over) and they were too bulky and heavy for daily use. Enter the Ello 40 oz. tumbler with top and side handles!! My favorite part of this tumbler is the top handle because it folds down and snaps into place so it feels more secure than having a separate handle attachment. This makes it so much more versatile and functional because you have two effective ways to carry the tumbler. In the runner-up spot is the truly leakproof seal once you remove the straw. That’s probably my one suggestion for improvement: make a side loop to secure the straw for when you need leakproof protection. Or make the top with an leakproof folding straw that comes on some of the other Ello tumblers. Additionally the cup is super easy to clean! I hand wash mine because I like to keep my daily-use items in the best condition I can. My only advice is the same that I would say about any similar tumbler: make sure you clean and rinse the crevices and air dry the tumbler separately from the lid so that you reduce the likelihood of mold or harmful bacteria growing between the leakproof seal. Bonus: it fits in my car’s cup holder, my backpack’s side pocket, AND my desk’s cup holder! So many others are typically too narrow for my other tumblers but the Ello fits in nice and snug into all of those spaces. So glad I made this purchase!! And if you want to jazz up your cup there are so many good color options. If you’re on the fence, get it!! It’s been great to me thus far.

This is overall a great cup. I would give 4.5 stars if half stars were an option. It doesn't leak and the large capacity is very convenient. My beverage stayed cold for quite a long time and I love the color. The straw and cup options were what I was really looking for. The carrying handle on the top makes this cup unique and so much easier to carry when I'm juggling a lot of items at once. The downsides are that the sealing ring can get mildewed fairly easily and the coating on the cup (powder coating?) isn't as durable as I would like it to be; pieces have chipped away in various cupholders.

Absolutely love these cups! The brand ello is definitely a knockoff and it shows in the materials. Have had a few that have dented and either lost cold/hot trapping capacity or don't stably stand up, but have bought a few now to replace them. Honestly, when it comes to re-usable drink cups, I think its best to wash at least weekly and replace every six months. There is a low chance (even with extensive cleaning) that you are getting all the bacteria that can grow in moist environments, so I go with the strategy of cleaning as much as possible for the time I have it, and recycle after 6 months and get a new one. These are ideal for that strategy, due to the ability to last 6 months, keep drinks either cold or hot, withstand falling over with minimal leaks and holds a solid amount of water. Carrying handle, straw, and cap are all nice and well built. Easy enough to clean the top, the straw, and the bottle, as long as you have the right tools. I would not try to clean the bottle with bare hands (hands probably wont fit deep enough with a sponge unless you have really tiny hands). 100% recommend, but know what you are getting and why you are getting it!!
