Well, as a plus, the lights are pretty when turned on, but within a couple minutes they are too hot to even touch the bulb. If you use these, use them outside and away from absolutely ANYTHING that can melt or catch fire.Do NOT put these anywhere near a tree or tinsel or garland or plastic or just about anything that can't handle 180+ degrees Fahrenheit. And that's just ambient temp with a temp gauge just resting on the bulb.I didn't even want to put forth the effort to return them so I just cut the wire up and tossed em in the trash.

DO NOT PURCHASE THESE LIGHTS!!! I would rate zero stars but I could not submit my review unless I chose one star. Prior to putting the lights up we plugged one of the sets in to make sure they worked. The set of lights we tried flickered and the fuse immediately burnt out and the lights did not work. Not only did the lights not work but they caused issues with our electrical outlets! We live in a new home and have never had any issues until we plugged these defective lights in! I am now going to be forced to call an electrician and who knows how much that is going to cost me!

These were exactly what I wanted. I bought 3 strands and they look great! They do feel a little warm to touch, but I haven't noticed that they get too hot. Would definitely buy again.

These put off a good bit of warmth for my nut and fruit trees in the spring. I live in the high desert (3400') - been growing here for 15 years and its the same every spring. Gets warm, everything starts blooming and then "shazam", we get one winter storm after another and the night temps fall to the low 20's.I have espaliered trees, they aren't very tall, so these lights are easy to put on and work great. Then I throw blankets over everything. Haven't lost a bloom yet.

These lights a pretty, but get hot very quickly once plugged in. I purchased a total of three boxes and each strand heated uncomfortably within 15 seconds. The safety instructions say not to leave them unattended... read these instructions before use. The plastic cords are pretty cheap feeling though at a distance they have the look I wanted. Due to how hot the lights get compared to all of the other indoor or outdoor lights I will be returning them.Packaging (see photo): I was surprised that two boxes came in a sturdy Amazon box and one came in a thin envelope with no protections.

I bought these for less than 1/4 the price I could find in stores. I was worried they wouldn’t be high quality but they are wonderful! I wanted them for Halloween lights so I bought a couple sets of solid colored bulbs from another seller and switched the bulbs to purple and orange. They come with clips attached to the string so you can hang from the gutter.

I love these lights. They come packaged in a nicely - and I will certainly be reusing box for storage. They can clip on to fence or stake without any issues. The purple color is definetly more of a pink/lavender hue than a blacklight color. That was the only downfall, but they still look great in my halloween graveyard display. Withstands rain as well! Highly recommend for the quality and price - you will not find these in your average store and if you do they will be much more expensive!

I love these lights. They are legit, ceramic lights and look like the lights I remember as a kid growing up. I've tried to find these style bulbs in the store, but the LED ones look cheap, many are plastic. Having the white and red intermixed makes our house the best on the block. Such a vintage, true christmas feeling. They burn bright and lasted all season.

The shipping costs were exorbitant! Absolutely highway robbery!But, I still ordered the lights as I wanted to brighten up my yard with pastels, to cheer my family and my neighbors, during these incredibly difficult and dark times due to the pandemic.Additionally, a few of the lights, right out of the box, did not light. That was very disappointing.
