Bought this to boost immunity of child when poorly. Arrived with broken seal - Amazon refunded and I reordered, but second bottle also arrived with a broken seal! Clearly says on bottle Do Not Use If Seal Broken. Quality checks needed!!

Son has needed probiotics for a while and they have helped him. This product is new to him and, I have to say, he doesn't love them. His old brand he just swallows as you do with a capsule, but these chewables you 'eat'. That's great if taking capsules is tricky but he's not overly keen on the flavour. He doesn't hate them - and so still takes them without complaint - but he prefers to just swallow a capsule without issue.So, if your child cannot easily swallow pills etc, then this is a good alternative. Otherwise... it's down to personal opinion on flavour.So, 4 stars.

Some manufacturers and brands seem to be supported in the media and charge a lot of money for their products, as is the case here. I don't understand how it can be justified and am keen to hear back from Bettervits why their product is so superior that they can justify such a mark-up.What I like:- Good approach when diets are deficient in yogurts and fermented foods, and too much sugar is eaten as is the case (sadly) in modern Western European diets (high sugar consumption can harm the microbiome, throwing the system out of balance in favour of non-beneficial bacteria).- Easy to take (chewable tablets).- Several strains of "good" bacteria.- Taste (oragen flavour): Pleasant enough to be accepted by my 9-year old.What I wonder:- Chewable tablets: I understand that it is easier to chew than swallow, but I wonder if chewing does not destroy some of the bacteria and thus reduces the potency of this product.- My 9-year old started to suffer from light diarrhoea soon after using this product, as well as other supplements. I don't know if there is a correlation. We're monitoring the situation.What I don't like:- These bacteria are not live. Probiotic drinks and foods are live and the bacteria is active. This means when it gets to your intestines it goes right to work. Pill and powder probiotics supplements take up to 6 hours to colonize in your intestines, IF they even make it there.- Price: Way, way too expensive for what it is, knowing that you can get the same from other reputable brands, but cheaper.

I feel like, if tablets are targeted at children, then they should taste good. I have two boys who mostly eat absolutely everything and anything they can put their hands on, so was a bit disappointed to find that none of them liked the taste of these.I tasted one, and although it wasn’t disgusting, I also didn’t find it that nice either. I would say for the price, you could probably find nicer tasting, chewy vitamins.For me, this tub would last one month if both boys had a tablet a day. This for me is quite expensive.
