The largest dish, with top, has longest external length of 11 1/8 inches. If you want it to rotate in a microwave, it has to fit.Because the dish is oval, the inside dimensions vary. To heat frozen packaged food, the largest block of food itself has to fit inside, more or less. The main attraction for me, of a casserole dish for microwave thawing/ heating, is that the food can be removed first from it's original plastic container, so one does not have to chance heated plastic chemicals.Some medium-sized food brands have external package size 7 3/16 x 9 inches. That whole package per se would not fit, un-opened. But so far, for all of that size I have opened, the frozen block inside is smaller of course, has rounded corners, and does fit. Or I would be willing to separate some small frozen-food corners.These are my -approximate- measures, of what rectangular solid object fits inside, unmodified. I would be happy to read more exact corrections, by other people. 9x4, 8.5x5, 8x5.5, 6.75x6. Cheers

These are very sturdy but I wish they had handles.

As described. Brand name speaks for itself. Well packaged for shipping. Would buy again. Like the color. Easy to clean.

Corning Ware, what's happened to your quality? The tiny dish was so tiny, I use it to hold my keys. Now for the medium and large sizes. I followed all the baking instructions; I used the large first for baking chicken. Cooked great, then put it on the cold, unused stovetop and I heard a huge "POP"!! I didn't think anything was wrong until washing later. There was a huge crack all the way through the dish, side to side. Of course I wasn't going to use it again, so in the trash it went. Now I've resorted to the medium size. After about 8 more oven uses, again - I hear a loud "POP". It couldn't have happened again, could it? Well, yes it did!!!! All that money literally in the trash. Couldn't send back. VERY disappointed in Corning Ware. I would have given it zero stars but had to use one star.

This is a set of 10 CorningWare Ceramic Bakeware Set with Lids. There are 2 ramekins, 2 oval dishes, oval dish with glass and plastic lid that is 1.5 quarts and oval dish with glass and plastic lid that is 2.5 quarts. The color is French Cabernet.These are chip and crack resistant. They are microwave, dish washer, oven, freezer and refrigerator safe. They are great for baking. It bakes evenly. If you like to bake then this bakeware set is for you. It even has the brand name recognition in Corning Ware too. I would recommend this set to anyone who likes to cook and bake.
