Not sure why this showercap was not marketed for women as well. I could not find the exact same type for women, so I bought it. I am tired of the plastic shower caps that do not have long lasting elastic. This cap worked well. I have a regular shower head that tilts forward so the cap barely gets wet(as I intended). My hair is left dry and so far I'm happy to have it.

No Afro here, but I do have shoulder-length hair and there is ample room to keep my hair on top of my head when I want to take a quick shower without a hair washing. After two years, the plastic is still supple enough to get my recommendation.

The shower cap kettle my hair dryer. The only con is that after washing a few times, the string was trapped in the drawstring whole. I eventually got it out but it wasn't fun.

I bought this cap looking for a waterproof option that was a good size, but unfortunately, it fails to perform its primary function. The blue camouflage design is attractive and the materials feel comfortable, but water seeps right through to the inside while showering. The terry lining ends up soaked, leaving my hair completely wet. If you are looking for a product that truly protects your hair from water, this isn't the best choice.

I love that this is adjustable and works well with my hair. I like that the terry cloth keeps the moisture away from my hair also when in the shower so it doesn’t crimp and have weird spots in my hair from a hair tie. It’s sturdy also
