Most futuristic looking weapon light
Love the look of this light, super modern. It's also light weight. Great lighting modes, high and low outputs and strobe. Switches are right at your thumb. Charging from USB magnetically is awesome. Mounting onto the rail was super easy. For the money this is phenomenal, considering high quality finish and uncomplicated performance.

You will not be disappointed!
This took a minute to install, fits snugly and looks great. The light shine very bright and will light up our open plan kitchen and living room with absolutely no issue. These rooms are maybe 1,000 sq ft together and once you flip this light on the room is bright as day. Also, absolutely blinding if you we to be looking into it. Perfect for home defense.seems pretty as well, we’ve only had it for a few days but it feels like great quality. Switches are in a perfect location to reach and seem solid and easy to use.

Great product highly recommend
Put it on my airsoft gun and its incredibly bright... I was going to buy a big box name brand 150-300 light and my buddy told me about this company and im incredibly impressed my only complaint is its a bit large and i wish it was slimmer but for 35 bucks those small details seem unnecessary

Good light for the money
So far so good. It's really bright and the construction seems solid. The controls are fairly intuitive. one small button for brightness choice and a big one for on/off. Quick click for steady on, long click for momentary and quick double tap for strobe. Comes with a USB cord for charging. Only cons I can think of are 1. The two mounting screws are pretty far apart so you need a decent length of rail for mounting and 2. The on/off button has a pretty soft press so I'm afraid it will activate itself while the rifle is being carried in the case. Needs a little more resistance.

Great light and looks like it was made for the CAAGEARUP MCK!
Picked this up on prime days to mount on the left side rail of my MCK, because I wanted a less expensive option compared to the stock lights that you can buy from CAAGEARUP. Aside from having to slightly mod the left side rail to make sure it fit correctly (the light has a small bud at the front on its bottom) it seems to work well. It is solid, and made a decent looking metal. Has high, low, and strobe modes. It is low profile and looks like it was made for the MCK. The charging cable has a nice and secure magnetic connection. If you want good light for a good price I would recommend this one.

Bring the pain and let the strobes fly
Love this product the flashlight is bright as hell. The strobe features is very disorienting, and the aluminum casing makes it durable love it will definitely recommend it.

Its good--REALLY GOOD. Does EXACTLY what you want, and at a budget price.
I'm MORE than impressed with this... the rail-mount, and what it does (ok, its a flash light!!) works 110% as expected. I put over 500 rounds @ 5.56 -- ZERO issues (its a light, not a laser!! I just didn't want it do fall off)..and it performed EXACTLY as it shoud-- stayed on the rails, charges easily (I'm not sure if I like the "donut" chargering-- I would personally perfer just a USB-C-- but it works-- and it works exactly as advertised). I would 110% recommend this for any Pinny railed rifle.

Very impressed so far.
Put this one one of my PSA pews. Wanted a light for a low cost to throw on before I spray canned the pew. It’s had 350 ish rds through it and this lights still hanging on, and has never cut off. Build quality seems great, especially at this price point. Projection/throw of the light been is pretty tight till about 50 yards. Beyond that has more of a flood effect. Charges pretty quickly. I keep the portable charger cable and a portable 34000mah power block on me to charge it if needed. Not had it dim or die in the few times I’ve had it to the property.

I got this for my hubby to use with his firearms. He really likes the design of the flashlight and how sleek it looks in general. It fits very well with the rifle he has and finds that the flashlight is nice and bright. All in all, he loves the new addition to his rifle and it fits in very well with the look he is going for.

This review evaluates the “PL50 Tactical Picatinny Mount 1,450 Lumens Flashlight” made by VOTATU. What’s in the box: It comes as one (1) Tactical 1,450 lumens flashlight with an integrated Picatinny rail mount, one (1) Allen key, one (1) USB-A to magnetic induction mount charging cable, and an instruction manual. First impressions: Compact. Rugged. I’ve tried several gun sight products from this manufacturer, and this one did not disappoint. The frame is made from rugged aircraft-grade aluminum with good fit and finish. The unit comes in a small, low-profile format with an integrated mount that attaches securely to a standard Picatinny rail or Weaver-style mount. The ON/OFF and HIGH/LOW switches are ambidextrous and located and the rear of the unit. They are easy to activate with or without gloves. The unit has an internal lithium battery that is chargeable by a magnetic induction port. The battery charges in 2 hours and has about 1 hour of runtime. There are two brightness settings: HIGH @ 1,450 lumens with a reach of 130m and LOW @ 550 lumens and a reach of 60m). At either setting this light is extremely bright, enough to blind a person! I mounted the unit on the Picatinny rail of my Remington 870 tactical shotgun and it was locked down securely. Due to the large battery, the unit is long and requires a good length of rail to mount securely. Overall, I am impressed with the product; the unit is well-made, easy to activate, and extremely bright. Since I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program, I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. Only time will tell how this unit stands up to repeated use and abuse from repeated rounds from a shotgun. Therefore, I am going to monitor this product over the next 8-12 months of use and revise my review should problems arise. Cost-effectiveness and value: At a current price of $69.99, I feel that this unit is of good value and is very competitive with others on the market if it holds up to rigorous use In summary: The “PL50 Tactical Picatinny Mount 1,450 Lumens Flashlight” made by VOTATU is well-made, easy to activate, and extremely bright. It delivers great functionality at a reasonable price. I would recommend this product. Pros 👍: ✔ Well-made, good fit and finish. ✔ Rugged aircraft-grade aluminum frame construction. ✔ Low profile, compact format. ✔ Mounts easily and securely on a standard weaver or Picatinny rail. ✔ Ambidextrous ON/OFF and HIGH/LOW switches. ✔ Two (2) Illumination settings: HIGH @ 1,450 lumens with a reach of 130m and LOW @ 550 lumens and a reach of 60m). ✔ Large capacity lithium-ion battery with a 1-hour runtime. ✔ Magnetic induction 2-hour charging. ✔ Water resistant. ✔ Priced fairly and great value. Cons👎: ✘ None.

It's fairly long, measuring approx. 11.2cm x 3cm x 3cm. It comes with a magnetic charging cable, allen key, spare mounting screw & a user manual. It requires at least a 6 slot picatinny rail to properly attach the light to ensure all screws and locking lugs are supported properly. It weighs a hefty 157g with its all-aluminum construction and what looks like a single 18650 battery under the battery compartment. The battery is not user removable, or at least it’s not easily removable, so if the battery goes replacing it may be an issue. The power switch on the back has a weird twang to it when it’s pressed, but once pressed, the light output is very bright with a central hotspot. There is a 2nd button on the back which is meant to adjust brightness between normal & max. There is no strobe function. Mounting on the bottom of the rail is the best position for me, but the location of the button requires an upward push, which is a bit awkward. A side push would have been better. My rifle doesn’t have picatinny rails on the side, but that probably would be a better location for the light as it would be a side press motion to turn it on/off. This will require me to get more picatinny rail sections to attach to my handguard. It would have been ideal if the light came with an M-LOK rail section (metal or plastic) to allow maximum mounting options right out of the box. The magnetic charging system makes it easy to recharge the light just buy brining the magnetic head close to the charging ring. Once contact is made, there’s an LED on the side of the light that goes from red when charging to green when done. Because of the design, the light can stay waterproof. Overall, the Votatu PL50 tactical flashlight for rifles did a great job. Excellent light output and build quality. This is what I expect from Votatu products as I’ve used their products and this meets the same quality standards. I do wish it wasn’t so big as for proper install and full lockup you would need a 6 slot picatinny rail. It can be mounted with less, but with the length of the body, it’ll take up the same amount of space without the full 6 slots or not. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the button on the back as it had a weird “twang” when I pressed the button and it limits the location you can mount the light. A side pressing switch (when mounted under the rifle) would be the ideal button location for me. So I would say it could use some minor tweaks to be a better light.

Attached this to one of my 870's, one that has a tri-rail foregrip. It has two buttons, one toggles low/high brightness and the other for on/off. All modes change instantly. Two hex screws tighten down the spring-loaded rails, it comes with an extra screw. I weighed it a hair over 5.5oz, so its a bit hefty when its on the end of your tool. I put it on the right side on a short rail on the pump grip. I didn't like it interfering with the grip when it was on the bottom, as its a bit long and got in the way unless you grip it directly. Also on the bottom or left it interfered with the retention strap which also blocked some of the light, so it lives on the right. From that position I can easily activate it with my thumb or index. I really like it but the weight is a bit much. It's blinding-bright, so that's a plus. I haven't tested the duration of the battery, hopefully it's longer than 20 minutes on full brightness. If I ever need it, it wouldn't be for that long. But its there when I need it. It arrived already fully charged, so it seems to retain charge pretty well when in disuse. It also comes with a magnetic charge cable so it just snaps on and you can just pull it away in haste without damaging the cable. Looks like you could leave it charging all the time on a rack. Now I just need a rack with USB ports! Recommended.

This is one heck of a flashlight! Although it is intended for a rifle, I am using this primarily as a standalone flashlight. And it could also be used on a bike but it does have a short battery life when on high power mode. (See more below). As a flashlight it has all the features I like: a powerful beam, low and high beam, easy recharging, heavy duty casing but lightweight to carry. However, be aware that it does warm up but not hot enough to be able to hold. I like its size and easily can be in a pocket. I did test out the beam and although I did not do a measure of the beam, when I used in the backyard, it was more than enough to light up with good details. I occasionally do a check for pests and this light is ideal for that. For saving battery life I will go to the low light mode. On high mode, the battery charge lasted up to 1.25 hours or so at full power then the light power diminished and finally quit about 2 hours in total. The vendor said that at full power it would last 1 hour and it did and more. Yes, it is an expensive flashlight but I will be meeting with my friend who has a rifle to see if I need a rifle to go along with the light. I look forward to that!
