This nugget ice is great. Very crisp and clean - not melty. Took about 30 minutes to make enough for a glass and about 90 minutes for several glasses - very fast. I was most concerned about potential noise...I had seen previous videos and was not sure about the noise but this has been relatively quiet. It sounds like a regular tower fan and I didn't notice it after a few minutes - very happy about that. Daughter is taking it to college so it passed her test. Very compact and simple to use. Extremely happy with the purchase - there are a lot of choices out there but highly would recommend this for consideration

Buy it, you won’t regret it. I did the research for days after our old machine quit, and decided on this one. It’s quiet, quick and makes the best ice! Easy to fill, easy to clean. It comes with a protectant tape and the color of the tape is so pretty that we decided not to remove it lol. The handle holder is such a nice bonus!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice ice maker. It looks good and is relatively small than other ice machines. It’s does make some noise, but I believe they all do. It makes good nugget or sonic ice, that stays pretty cold when in drinks. This unit replaced another Silonn countertop ice maker that I had for a few years that suddenly stopped producing ice. This one is just as easy to use, but produces less, has a smaller water reserve. But I wanted a nice looking one, which this one looks sleeker on counter.

I previously owned the original Opal ice maker - I backed it on Kickstarter and had the first build before GE bought them. It was amazing, for years. And then it wasn't.This one was the right price point and I was hopeful. It has exceeded my expectations.At first glance I was skeptical - it's ice basket is considerably smaller than the Opal. It hasn't been an issue, because it makes new ice, so fast. Also a bonus - it takes up much less room! My picture shows how much space it takes on a standard counter depth.I store the scoop with a small microfiber cloth because the basket drips water when you remove it to fill - makes for fast clean up and keeps it tidy. Makes sure you follow set up directions and leave it upright for 24 hours before you plug it in.It is not silent - the compressor makes some noise, but, that is unavoidable with this style of machine and to be expected.

Updated:I originally gave one star because of the reasons down below, but once I emailed them again and provided the video and the documentation and the photographs as they requested, they were really good about everything. They are sending me a new unit. Lots of hoops to jump through to get a replacement, but I understand that they have to make sure that they’re not being scammed for a second free icemaker.Icemaker died after six weeks. It started making clicking and grinding and popping noises, so I turned it off and turned it back on again, and it started making its normal humming noise, but will no longer produce ice. I contacted the company and gave them the Amazon order number as they requested and explained the issue, now they want me to send them an invoice document other than the order number from Amazon that I already sent them. (There is no invoice document!) They also want me to send a photograph of the back of the machine and take a video narrating the problem so they can supposedly help me troubleshoot. There is no troubleshooting to be done. The ice machine pump motor obviously burned out and stopped producing ice! I contacted Amazon as well and they told us that we would need to contact Amazon’s warranty department with no instructions on how to go about doing that. You Are Amazon, I’m talking to you!So basically I’m getting the runaround after spending almost $200 on this damn thing and having it crap out on me after six weeks of use…never again with this company

Buena compra realiza lo que dice la descripcion ledoy 4 estrellas ppr que hace algo de ruido

No los hace tan rápido pero cumple con la función, si los metes después de hacerse al congelador duran más porque en la maquinita se deshacen pronto
