So as a professional barber that does hot towl shaves regularly, I know my shave gear. I shave at home with a straight edge on a regular basis too and make the most of being able to use a real hair brush to enhance the experience, rather than the synthetic brush you have to use for commercial use.This brush is fantastic, comfortable to use and really great for frothing up the range of shave creams that I triled it with. Its complemented nicely by the matching stand I picked up too!!Definitely a recommendation for any shaving enthusiasts.

I have been using this pure badger hair shaving brush for a few months and it is hands down the best value for money of any brush I have previously bought.I would compare the results to that of a silver tip however it is without the high silver top price tag.The hair loss has been very minimal with just a few hairs lost initially (which is standard for all brushes). After this point I haven't noticed any shedding and it has been consistently providing me with a great lather.The brush itself looks great in black and the handle fits perfectly and is easy to use. I got the stand also. It compliments the brush and looks great in the bathroom.The bonus you get from the email is also a welcome addition.Overall highly recommended and a safe bet when looking for a reliable and high performing brush.

The brush had an odour when I lather up my soap - of badger no doubt - which isn't particularly pleasant. Hopefully this will go away in time. The brush has not lost many hairs so far but I have only had it for a few weeks. Hopefully it does not end up like my old brush which shedded an increasing amount of hair. If it does, it looks like I'm going to have to look at investing in a more expensive brush.

Great brush for getting your stubble ready for a close shave, really pleased with it and would definitely recommend to anyone replacing an old brush or looking at buying your first brush, really agrivates the shaving cream and helps to give a smooth finish, it also looks smart in the dedicated holder!

I have only used the brush a couple of times but it produces a thick lather which helps with a close shave. The brush hasn't lost any hairs and is very soft.I suggest you use the best quality shave soap you can afford to give a good shave.

I have been using this brush almost daily for 4 months and was initially pleased with the lather and shave quality it provided. However, if it continues to lose bristles at its current rate only the handle will be left after a year's use. This product is not worth it's purchase price.
