Everyone loved these bowls no damage to the environment

Bought for a party to avoid washing up and broken plates, but needed a sturdier alternative to paper plates as we were serving hot food. These bowls were amazing and did a great job at holding chilli! Would definitely use these again.

The media could not be loaded. They are really strudy, I have had a few of these types of products and they are quite durable and depending on what you use them for you can get a few uses out of them.Echo friendly and whilst the bowl patterns are all pretty different they still look nice and you can tell they are one whole pack/set.They can be used in the freezer/micro - I hadn't realised this.They are more expensive than paper plates/bowls but far superior quality, 5/5 from us.

These bowls aren’t as big as I thought. Although I checked the dimensions, they taper down very narrow, and will not hold as much as I had hoped. They feel very sturdy, and cannot fault that - they just aren’t big enough. I am going to have to order new ones.

I think these palm leaf bowls are pretty good. The bowls are thick – several times thicker than traditional paper or plastic versions – and their natural origin gives them a slightly variable appearance. The bowls vary a bit in colour and thickness. The edges of the bowls look quite rough, but don’t seem splintery at all. The surfaces are slightly shiny, not at all absorbent (unlike paper versions) and have strong, natural texturing and markings. The 6.5” size seems quite big for desserts, but as though it would be fine for serving main meals such as curries/chillies, or as serving bowls.Easy to clear up after use, as (perhaps with a quick rinse first) they can just go straight in the compost bin. These are fine for home composting.Not cheap, at approximately 52p per plate at time of writing (pack price £12.99), but good, sturdy, non-absorbent disposable bowls that don’t have the negative environmental impact of plastic.Although the bowls themselves are biodegradable and compostable, they do come wrapped in plastic film.

I received 8 such bowls in a pack of 25 which means almost 32% of the bowls are not useful. I really hope the sellers make note of this and do something about it.Overall I would say that this is a very good concept which is eco-friendly and reasonably priced option too.Hope you find this review helpful
