I love skechers. So instantly comfortable.I wore these for walking in Iceland Not sure how they would be in very wet weather but are shower proof.Soles very grippy even on ice!

goog quality, look good feel good, love the memory foam insole. always by these shoes for work, durable, smart, comfortable when pon your feet long hours but so, so disappointed with the shoes sent this time. First ever problem with soles. I seroisly need Non-Slip soles for long hours in hotel kitchen environment. Wore them on Tuesday night- They were LETHAL. Absolutely no grip whatsoever. As stated I always by Pavers Sketchers range as I can rely on non-slip soles. Unsure if these were Pavers direct or not. I will now go on line direct to Pavers and double check their type of soles used. Certainly will wear these elsewhere but not where I intended to wear them.

I like these trainers, but they are on the large side. I take a 41 (European), normally a 7.5 UK, but had to order the size 8 in these - which is supposed to be a 41. Well, they are okay - when laced up they feel quite secure, and the insoles are great - but they are longer than I need and make my feet look enormous. The other thing I'm not so keen on is that they stick out quite a bit at the heel which makes even my boot-cut trousers catch on them and scrunch up - not a great look. Not sure if I'll be keeping them. They are comfortable, but ..................sorry, but looks do matter to us women!

Agree with other reviewer about the slippery soles. I have bought Skechers for years and have never had this problem with the soles. I nearly went flying after walking on damp pavement that was a little muddy. The soles wear down pretty quickly and become smoother which makes it worse.I won't buy this version again. If you want an all weather trainer then always check the soles, Skechers do make better ones with a more ruggedsole.

I love these - they fit so well and are really comfortable. I started wearing them because of chronic Achilles problems - I needed a flat shoe I could put my orthotics in and they needed to have good support i.e. lace ups and these were ideal. I no longer use the orthotics however still wear these - they are my main footwear. With daily use they last a year and I am probably on my 8th or 9th pair. Sketchers have made the odd change over the years however they are still fantastic.

Good walking shoe. The memory foam takes a bit of getting used too - not as thick as I expected, but provides nice cushioning for my arthritic feet. I would have been happier with a slightly wider fit as the shoes fit reasonably snug but the laces can be left fairly open without the shoes feeling too loose whilst walking. Look good on and are not too clunky.

People raved about these shoes, and I did question if they were really that good. At university, presently studying for my degree in Nursing, so I wanted something basic, but comfortable for the long shifts were I would be constantly on my feet. These shoes do not disappoint, in fact they're possibly even better than everyone makes them out to be. You could definitely walk around in these all day and not feel any pain. A great metaphor would be like walking on clouds. Got them for a bargain price as well. Not the most stylish shoes, but I love them.
