Easy enough job to do with relatively basic skills. Just make sure to unplug the RV from shore power, don't have the generator on and just to be 100% sure, ground the capacitor to something metal before touching it to be sure it does not have any juice stored. And don't fall off the roof.

Worked perfectly as a replacement motor for our RV AC unit

Original Mach 15 motor was off brand motor that had severe rust after only a few years causing the bearings to grind. I have had good luck with FASCO brand motors so chose this one as a replacement motor. The motor was an exact fit, even the wires are the correct colors used in the original motor installation. Motor shaft lengths and diameter were right on. This all made installation very straight forward with the most difficult part removing the old motor without any damage to the A/C coils (tip, remove the outside fan shroud completely) Overall seems to be a very good replacement motor. Motor also came with a new capacitor which was convenient and saved having to separately order a capacitor. (Might as well change it while you are in there!)

The first one I received was damaged and bent. The second motor came quickly and has been working good. Packaging is terrible! No packing to keep the motor secure. Thinnn box!

We installed the motor it worked perfectly, but the capacitor was crushed and the package was damaged. There's no way to just return the capacitor because they come as upset and we needed to fix our air conditioner. Because the motor was out on the fan so I wish there was a way to get. A new capacitor without having to return all of it.
