I'll tell you one thing. Nobody can really rate this product. There's really one effect this has on the human body. And if it's working, then the effect is a lack of "Pain and Discomfort" in 2 key areas and the reason behind the WHY of buying this pill. I usually take the LONG way around, but I do have a point. I was diagnosed with a fatty liver and could not lose weight. That liver of mine, we had a brawl. I went to the local GNC. The owner, an extremely knowledgeable man in all things vitamin and supplement related. There's another item that works WITH the Milk Thistle. Lecithin. Soy, 1.5 percent of the population is allergic. Take a couple twice a day, I take 6am, 4noon, 6dinner and 4bed. Started taking the Sunflower lecithin, works better for me, but my Wife is allergic to Sunflower oil. So check yourself. I am bringing up the Lecithin because it enhanced ALL of the attributes of Milk Thistle. Don't know how you can find my reviews on lecithin but there's a story there. I've lost weight, DR reduced my thyroid meds by 100ug a day, off of 2 prostate pills, and the list goes on. Yes I highly recommend this supplement with one stipulation. Taking it with either lecithin types, will multiply it's effects. BTW, helps shrink gall and kidney stones, increases food, med absorbtion, lowers appetite, etc. If you really like to eat a LOT of food, this combination will lower cravings. I did mention my synthroid. One improvement of this milk thistle over the one I used to take, guaifenestn for allergies also caused dry mouth and thirst. This one changed that. Hope I've helped someone. Look at the lecithin.

I take milk thistle daily to protect my liver. It's hard to find affordable supplements these days that are made from natural ingredients, not man made chemicals tied up in a bow, calling them something they really aren't. This company has a website where they state their supplements are all made in the USA and made from all natural ingredients. I haven't had any problems with this supplement and it smells just like other all natural milk thistle products I've purchased, so I have to believe it is natural, like they claim. Their prices aren't cheap/cheap, but they aren't over the top ridiculous like some supplements can be, either. I find them to be affordable, and trust that they are, indeed, natural products.
