Q: Is 8 1/2 inches at its largest, or does it adjust smaller?

They adjust down pretty far. I put one on my 3 year old granddaughter and adjusted it down tight on her tiny wrist.

Q: What type of metal are they??

If it’s not specified on the description, (unable to look now) I’m not positive. I will say I’m very happy with them, to gift. Longevity/green skin effect unknown. I send them to ppl I’ve never met! Only one of all had a minor misprint. (The Lord is on my side, I will -“no”-fear. Psalm 118:6) I never checked each against scripture for accuracy! I think it’s worth the price for one who can’t get out to shop (4 years, here) yet still loves to bless others! 🙇♀️🙏🏼🕊

Not that durable

Purchased as gifts for my 6th grade CCD class. Not easy to adjust and my sons broke the next day. I do love the quotes from the Bible on them but they are not sturdy.

Awesome great quality

I love these!!!! Would be great gifts I'm gonna hand them out to family. Defiantly okay for boys and girls. It's looks like real leather actually could be I can't tell. The silver is solid and not thin and very nice looking and imprinted words are nice and readable. So worth the money great small gift for anyone.
