HPHOPE 28mm Forstner Bit, Forstner Drill Bit 28mm for Wood, Drill Bits Round Shank

I bought a bunch of bottle opener inserts and the set of standard forstner bits I had did not create the perfect sized hole. This is the size needed for the bottle opener inserts I bought and provide a nice fit for the insert. A must have if you want the right tool for the job.Since I haven't had this for very long I can't speak to the longevity, the bit does appear to be well made and cuts really well.

Took two tries go get this bit. Does what I need, but if your work is thin might poke thru your work piece.

This is the most poorly made forstner bit I have ever seen. It is crudely machined and the cutting edges are ragged, with several visible nicks. Worst of all, it bores a hole that is larger than 35 mm. I bought this bit for euro hinges, and it creates a ridiculously sloppy fit. I am returning it and now I know to never by a tool made by HPHOPE.

Needed to create recess for hinge. This drill bit is designed to do exactly that - saved so much time

I had to cut four counterbored holes two of which were 80mm deep in solid oak to take 50mm spigots for a large table construction. This 50mm bit cut superbly well, nice clean cuts with a good flat bottom to the holes and were accurate to size. Used a pillar drill to get good vertical accuracy. I think this design of bit is superior to other designs and would recommend. Good price well packaged and arrived on time. Brilliant!
