Dimplex 035806 WYN20AB Wynford Electric Inset Fire with Optiflame Effect, 2 kW, 230 W, Antique Brass

i had a dimplex wynford fire for 8 years and so when i needed to replace it i was happy to have another, however while there is nothing intrinsically wrong with new fire it just is not anywhere near as bright as my old one - is this because it now has led bulbs if so it has not improved fire at all in fact i am now wishing i'd had other one repaired

This fire replaces a Dimplex Opti-Myst which was purchased in 2010 and after needing a replacement sump (£100 plus) 2 years ago it finally gave up the ghost last month. After pushing the side and top trims into place it just slides into the fireplace and hopefully will be less fuss than the other one that required topping up with water every few days. I don't like giving 5 stars for anything but the fire looks good and the Optiflame effect is cheerful.

Very pleased with the Dimplex Wynford inset fire with Optiflame Effect. It arrived very quickly and well packaged. Easy to install in our fireplace. Didn't require the spacer kit which was supplied as it fitted perfectly into the opening. Good heat from the fan heater and the flame effect is very nice. Not as bright as our previous one but happy that it is very silent when on flame effect and just a little noise when fan heat is on.

Loved this fire but the buzz with the lights on is unbearable.I've only had it 11 months but it's been like this for weeks.

Arrived on date scheduled, received well packaged and in good condition, fire as described. Fire looks nice, only downside is that the coal pieces are very small and have to be carefully arranged otherwise they fall through Grate bars.

The opti flame effect is superb, best I've seen. Although more expensive than a lot of others on Amazon I am glad I paid the extra as it's a lovely fire.The only downside is that the LED fire glow bulbs cannot be replaced. They do say though that on average use of 8hrs a day they should last between 11 to 15 years. Time will tell I suppose.

Looks very expensive,The dark bronze finish works well and looks lovely not To bright. Love how you can have the flame light on without the heat an added bonus

The fire was so easy to install and looks lovely in our fireplace. Very satisfied with the look and warmth of our new fire.
