Absolutely Solid Knife and Materials
I've owned several pocket knives, from budget to Benchmade. My all-time-favorite is the SOG Kiku XR as I like chunky knives that fill the hand. This Sitivien looked to fit that bill without being a pocket princess (I tend to pamper expensive knives) and it does that in spades. Solid in the hand! I also love the brown burlap micarta (one of my favorite handle materials). Looks great, feels great, blade is dead-on center, and it has arguably the best "budget" blade steel out there: 14C28N, which has the same edge retention as AUS-8, 8Cr13MOV, or Nitro-V, but is considerably tougher. I don't think you can find a knife with better materials for less money. Heck, most knives with the same or worse materials are twice as much as a Sitivien! So it's easy to recommend this brand for the bang for your buck. Seriously good materials here. This model at least is technically a front flipper, though it takes considerable breaking in before you get a snappy deployment. It has an oversized tab on the front, but the detent and spring system are very stiff out of the box. Might need a few weeks to break in, or maybe adjust (bend out a bit) the detent, but out of the box, you will not be flipping the blade open with a thumb - you will push the blade past the detent, then flick the blade open with your wrist. A bit of a letdown considering this knife has steel bearings. Despite that and the small choil (can't get a full finger behind the blade), everything else on this knife is impressive at this price point, so I highly recommend it! UPDATE: After adjusting the detent slightly, the knife snaps open quite well. Would be nice if it was good to go out of the box, but few knives are, especially at this price.

A very stout little pocket knife....good ergos..well made, very sharp...makes a great 5th pocket carry and will serve well for everyday around the house cutting tasks except food prep..I recommend it and almost any other Sitvien product....my experiences with them have been outstanding. A Well Made Chunky Monkey
It's a nice looking coated 14c28N knife with micarta scales that remind me of my old pocket watch, brought into existence by a famous knife designer. It's not light, and the term "pocket pig" is an accurate description of this knife. I like it, and carry it, but I'm also one of those weirdos who enjoys carrying a Cold Steel Spartan, Rajah 2, or Espada. It's on the smaller side in terms of blade size, but you will still definitely feel it in your pocket. That being said, I bought it for less than $30 on Amazon. The fit and finish is quite good, lock up is tight, and it came out of the box able to shave hair. It's definitely worth the buy, and if you don't enjoy carrying it in your pocket, you can always clip it to the inside front of your BVDs to impress women.

Too heavy and bulky to my liking
It's heavy and bulky. Other than that it does what's it's supposed to do.

Great size and shape for utility
It's not big, it's not fancy. It's a solid folder with a blade that's the perfect size and shape for most general utility knife tasks you'll need. Handle fits nicely into palm of hand, also small and light enough to clip to the cuff of your jacket for quick access.

Cool, but heavy
This is a very cool knife. The blade is sturdy and sharp, the yellowon the sides is bright. It feels smooth and slides easily into a pocket. My only criticism is the heavy weight of it. As a small pocket knife it is too weighty.
