We lost the original remote for our Roku Express+ (the 2017 version that came with a composite cable), and so we were relieved find a replacement remote available on Amazon. The remote arrived yesterday and I am happy to report that it works perfectly with our Roku. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a very (very!) slight delay in responsiveness when pushing the buttons, but it's not anything that is too annoying.

Bought these remotes and they did not work they were counterfeit. They were not even real.

One of the Roku remote controls at our family cabin "disappeared". This replacement works exactly as the lost remote. No programming, etc. Add batteries and use it. This model does not have volume controls, which is fine for our use. The original didn't have volume controls, either. I was surprised and pleased by the cost of this replacement.

This remote was flimsy and cheap...I had to order another after constantly changing the batteryHad to order another one with better quality

I have a Roku streaming device hooked up in the kids playroom. I did my best to find the model and put it in the title. Because the remote is for the kids playroom, they break them from time to time. Last time was over a dispute involving star wars toys. So my old remote became an airborne objection that thankfully missed my oldest boys head. It did however make full contact with the wall which is why I needed a replacement. This one is cheap, and works just fine when you point it anywhere near sensor. There is no volume control, but the original and subsequent remotes didn't have that either.

I’m constantly buying new remotes for my home bc my kids are always breaking or misplacing them! These are cheap & work just as good as the ones that come with the tv when you purchase them from the store!

Not a good replacement for original. The up/down & left right toggle action is very touchy, just like the new ones that come with the more recent model ROKU devices. When scrolling, DOWN is easier & more exact than trying to scroll UP and you have to make a precise effort for Left or Right or you will prompt a different function than you want . PS: I have no want of the voice activated remotes, just wish the hand helds hadn't been cheapened!!
