Works with mini DP1.2 and is stable. Only small point, sometimes the connection can be a little loose, but to be honest that's probably more to do with the mini DP port on my PC than the cable? Similar issues with mini-USB and micro-HDMI ports. They're almost a little too small to hold the cable firmly in place.

Works perfectly, I have an older 30" NEC monitor 2560x1600 which is a thing of beauty, built like a tank, IPS screen, £1,600 new and didn't want to have to chop it in cause DVI-D connectors are old tech.Thus I have a USB powered "DVI-D to Full size displayport adapter" which, in turn, connects to this "full size displayport to mini displayport adapter"I was wondering if an active adapter, connected to a passive adapter would work with my laptop but it does.

This is well made and very useful for connecting both mac mini and windows laptop to large screens.No problems at all.david

I bought this to plug my Macbook Air into a HPZR2740W monitor via Display Port.Works perfectly, previously I had a white mini display port -> display port cable and the monitor would flicker then the cable died, every time i plugged it in, it would hang the machine until unplugged.So i took a punt on this and it works brilliantly and every time, no flickering.
