Great product. Wish we had bought one sooner. Sturdy. Functional. Easy to use and good value for money.

Previously I had a more sturdy metal only squeezer that was heavy and rusted after a couple of uses. The acidity of the lemons and limes got to it. This one seems OK so far, it's super light weight, easy to clean, neat design. Overall great product, nice Italian vibes colour. Does the squeezing job right.

I was introduced to the Kitchencraft range of juicers when my son was given the lemon one for Christmas. I used it a number of times and was impressed at how, easy and how much more juice I could extract vs my normal method. Like many people, I've thought about buying an electric cold pressed juicer, the prices have come down in recent years. However, the issue is that such machines take up valuable space in the kitchen, especially for those like me with tiny kitchens. Not to mention the faff of cleaning filters etc after and rising cost of electric. So, back to this contraption. It's an easy and very straightforward machine to operate. I suggest slicing the sides of the orange to enable it to flatten easier, thereby extract more juice. Don't do what I did initially (with my sons lemon one), it looks like you place the halved fruit skin side down so the cup fits inside the fruit. Sure, it'll juice it, but it will also splash over the sides and waste juice. Place the halved fruit so that the skin is facing up. The downwards pressure will force the fruit to flatten and extract the most juice and keep it inside the cup, glass or container you've rested it on. The hinge is looser on the orange squeezer, but it makes sense that it would be because you're squeezing much larger fruit and it needs that amount of give. These juicers are brilliant and with no electric usage, no large appliance to find space for, can be stored even in the smallest kitchen. Do get the lemon/lime juicer too, it's worth it if you regularly use fresh lime and lemon juice. Very impressed. I just need to buy more oranges now.

Got this orange juicers to extract as much juice from my large oranges as possible, whether on it's own or to be used and mixed with other ingredients. This item is quite big and a little heavy but it does its job wonderfully. This item is to be used only to squeeze oranges only as lemon and limes are very small and require their own separate squeezer that you can thankfully buy here also. All you need to do is to cut your orange in half and place it in the squeezer face down and with the handle, press down hard and watch the juice flow freely from the holes at the bottom and into your glass or jigger. Real solid equipment that will last for ages and is simple and easy to use and maintain with usual washing by hand or by dishwasher. A must have of any wannabe bartender too.

Great product, simple, easy to use, can not go wrong. I have seen other reviews saying the handles break - if you squeeze too hard that you think the handles should touch together when the fruit is in the squeezer, what would you expect??? Chipping paint - er, what would you be doing to have that happen? Had this a while in constant use, nothing of the sort happening like that. Puzzling 🤔 As with all utensils exposed to acids including knives, it will dull and corrode... if you use common sense and rinse and wash immediately after finishing and leave to dry properly then there should be no problems. Consider how large the lemon is when using, if it’s as big as your fist, don’t place a half in... place a quarter and then squeeze carefully, no force or effort is needed. If you see my photo with the lime, position the half with the butt end facing up and the flat into the bowl. Seems counter intuitive but it is how this is used effectively. It’s two pieces metal with a hinge, well coated and easy to clean and look after... as I said, you can’t go wrong and the price is fair. Gets my vote of confidence 👍

Squeezing lemons, come on, its not rocket science surely ? Well beware there are some poor chromium products out there. This is the real deal. Well engineered it closes completely and every last drop is extracted. Well designed so the grip is natural and has a strong lever action. Cleans well. To early to say if it will rust and fall to bits but my impression is this is in another league. Recommend a try. PS so much for Amazons choice Follow up in Mid August After near daily use this squeezer continues to operate without a hitch and looks brand new. My initial assessment was right. An excellent product for a very reasonable price.

My usual method of squeezing limes is a fork and a twist, however my kids (8 & 10) can't really do that. When cooking together they really wanted to juice limes and lemons, or make some fizzy water and lime juice on their own. Juicing is a crazy good treat clearly! The longer handle means that my girls can easily get most of the juice out. They can get about 75%, then I finish with a bit of squeeze. I guess also a great option with less grip strength or the elderly. I wanted the orange squeezer but it wasn't available. I got the yellow lemon one and am happy with the size. It comfortably fits a lemon or lime and gets all the juice out, no pips. The only slightly counter intuitive thing is that you have to put the fruit in skin up, cut side down. Otherwise the juice can't escape. The juicer effectively turns it inside out. A quick shake over the food bin and throw it into the dishwasher. Mine has been through the dishwasher 3 times now, and is still box fresh. Fruit holder has 7cm diameter, and just under 4cm depth.

Purchased this to make plantain cups and it was perfect. Yet to use it for juicing though
