I have the Loops that cancel more noise which are great but I wanted to try Engage to still be able to hear and yet filter annoying noise. My Autistic son quite often squeals at a pitch which I find very unsettling, and these really help. I can still hear conversation yet not be triggered by certain noises. Well worth the money, comfortable and oh, and such a beautiful colour too!

Brilliant for blocking out some noise but still able to hear enough to watch a film or have a conversation. Used them at the cinema and they worked really well. Blocked out the annoying sounds of people eating or whispering and made the film volume more comfortable. Plus they are a very cool purple colour.

I have issues with being overwhelmed by loud noise and a friend recommended these to me. Was skeptical about them but decided to bite the bullet. After some time of use, I can say they do dampen noise to an extent while letting me engage in one-on-one conversations, but I'm still getting used to how I hear my breath and heartbeat with them in. They are comfortable to wear, but you do have to get familiar with the feeling (at least I had to). Overall I'd recommend them as an aid for being sensitive to sound, but imo they're very pricey for what they are. If you can use a regular set of earplugs to help, try them first to maybe save yourself some money.

Wow. Just wow.I really struggle with loud noisy places. Supermarkets- picking my kid up at school- anywhere where there’s people really. I have found it too overwhelming for years.These just funnel out all the noise.And they come with a handy little container to keep them in. Very impressed.We’re going to winter wonderland soon, and I’m dreading it for the noise- not so much now.

This is my second pair of loops. I like that you get different size earbuds. I realised I’m a small and not a medium. I wear them when I’m out in cafes , shops, places with noise. They are really comfy and I can hear myself talk when I’m wearing them but not hear too much background noise.I’m Autistic.

They are nice and comfortable to wear but it's still mostly like just wearing regular ear plugs. My hearing is fine, I just struggle with a lot of noise around me and having a conversation with someone. I got the experience ones because it said they are good for conversation. They bring down the volume of the background but the person talking right in front of me is muffled and my voice is muffled too. They don't really help I'm the way I wanted and are not as good as I expected for the price. I'm quite disappointed really.

My daughter is sensitive to sounds - like swishing of pants when people walk, or colouring with oil pastels. Distracting in a school, and severe enough that it’s reduced her to tears on occasion. Things have been much better since she started wearing these. They are comfortable enough that sometimes she forgets she’s wearing them, and they reduce background noise without diminishing conversations. My daughter is 11 and wears the M-sized covers comfortably.

TLDR: comfortable, nearly invisible, incredibly helpful to filter background noise and help me focus on the people talking to me.I have auditory processing disorder, specifically a difficulty with understanding speech and with filtering out background noise. In addition, I'm very sensitive to noise--sounds that are a perfectly fine volume to other people can be overwhelmingly loud for me. I am also a coffeeshop manager, which requires me to chat with many people all day long with nonstop background noise and music. I love my job, but I was ending every shift COMPLETELY exhausted from the effort of trying to understand people's speech and getting blasted all day with noise from the coffee grinder, espresso machine, oven, and overhead stereo. I would go straight home and lie down in complete silence just to recover from it.At the end of my rope one day, I started searching for ANYTHING that might help me, and I was intrigued by the idea of earplugs designed to filter sound but not make it too hard to hear people talking. I figured even if they just helped with my hypersensitivity to noise, it'd be worth the purchase. To my surprise, these earplugs are also the first item that has ever directly helped with my APD! Speech sounds much more crisp to me now, whether it's in-person, over the phone, or over a walkie-talkie. If someone's a quiet speaker, the earplugs do make it harder to hear them, but I would have had trouble hearing them anyway, so... six one way, half dozen the other.I am no longer overwhelmed by the constant noise. I have more energy and am in a better mood at work AND after work. I've started recommending these to coworkers who also struggle with the noise level at our job. It's so nice to have assistance tuning out background sounds so that I can pay better attention to the person I'm speaking to.An extra side benefit: I have chronic migraines as well, and these are GLORIOUS when I have one. They take the volume of the whole world down to a level I can bear. Life is just BETTER with these earplugs!!

Hypersensibel - deshalb gekauft. Sie erfüllen definitiv ihren Zweck, ich höre deutlich weniger (-16dB) und ich genieße die Ruhe. Habe sie auch zum Schlafen verwendet, allerdings sind sie da ein wenig unangenehm.Leider ist der Filter beim 2ten Reinigen abgegangen (?), sodass sie nun leider nicht mehr so funktionieren, wie sie sollen. Konnte sie zum Glück noch zurück senden und werde sie mir erneut bestellen.

I just love it.I wear it on the street, but also in busy spaces, when I want to cancel some noice but still to be able to talk.I tested it recently at a large event. It worked great :)Highly recommend.
