This is a wonderful cat food! My cat likes it, the ingredient profile and quality is great and the bag has a very good zipper lock. There are other cat foods that are also gluten-free with deboned meats available at much more affordable price. However there is one huge benefit to this food that is not being highlighted...it's USA sourced grade A meat! The package only states that it's made in the USA. This is not the same as USA sourced and I honestly think this is one of the best selling points. I had to go to the manufactures website to find this information. Most other companies that say they are made in the USA are still sourced from overseas. If you're looking for a cat food that uses de-boned chicken sourced from the USA as a first ingredient and is gluten and filler free... Give it a try!

My Tortoiseshell cat likes this food. She would not eat it, at first. I started mixing it with her previous food, and now when I put them both out, she goes for this food.The ingredients are terrific. No seed oil, instead they use salmon oil, which is terrific for cats. They also use deboned chicken and salmon. They do use some chicken and salmon meal, which I am not happy with. However, try to find a cat food that does not.Overall, I am pleased with the product. It is expensive, but worth it!

I do not think. I would use this on a regulat basis as it is quite expensive. It looks and smells like other dry food I have tried. Whiskey was not partcilarly interested in eating it, often leaving more than half in the bowl to be thrown away

This is a review for 4 of the flavors - Adult/Purple, Indoor/Gold, Kitten/Teal, and Longhair/Orange. I got one of each to compare and see which flavor my common brown tabby cat liked most. In order of best to worst: Gold, Purple, Teal, then Orange.I can strongly recommend getting the Gold flavor, which my cat absolutely loves and hasn't refused even once. For the Purple one, my cat only eats sporadically, some days refusing it and other days eating it happily. I can only somewhat recommend that one, since I'm not even really sure if my cat likes it or not. My cat barely touches the Teal flavor, yet she'll reluctantly eat it if there is no other option. I'd say pass on the Teal. The Orange flavor is one my cat refuses to eat no matter what, so that is a flavor you should pass on entirely.For each, the cat food came in a high-quality, beautiful bag, with all pieces of their holistic food intact. The food pieces look identical across all the bags too. The bag uses an inventive & quick velcro-like zipping mechanism that enables you to keep it sealed by effortlessly zipping it shut with just your index and thumb fingers. The convenience of this sealing method is brilliant and I really appreciate it, though for some reason it takes a substantial amount of extra force and more than two fingers to zip shut the Orange and Teal bags.For some reason, the bags are categorized by the type of cat they were supposedly meant for, rather than simply going by their flavors as they should have done. This is incorrect since all the flavors are suitable for any cat type, which the product itself acknowledges if you look closely enough. The recommended cat types should have been at best left as a note in the description of each, so it's weird that they made it the defining attribute of each bag.Somewhat hard to recommend this when my cat doesn't like most of them and when their prices are far beyond the norm for cat food at this quantity. Obviously each cat has its own tastes, but there's a better chance your cat will like the Gold one most of all like mine did. At least that one was worth getting. Purple might be worth it too.

I bought this to feed my 7 yr old Persian cat who is normally a very good eater who never turns down her regular dry and canned moist food plus treats.I bought this because you advertised as being specially formulated for Persian cats. My cat has recently been eating Royal Canaan’s special formula for Persian cats and she loves it. I couldn’t find it this time in the size I wanted because large quantities of dry food get stale before she can eat all of it. I saw yours was sold in the smaller bags so I decided to give it a try. My cat isn’t happy with it and turns up her nose every time I try to give it to her.What do you suggest I do to whet her appetite and coax her to eat your food. She can be very stubborn when she wants to be!!
