Hemara 12" Silent Non-ticking Wall Clock (Black)

So much cooler seeing the continuous movement of the silent second hand rather than the clunk of a second a time movement.

I bought this for my bedroom to replace my existing wall clock which is beautiful but its ticking noise was disturbing my sleep.This one arrived quickly - it looks nice, it has a cream/off white face, the numbers are a nice font, and seems nice and sturdy.Put a battery in to check the silence... it makes a loud whirring/fast ticking noise, a bit like a noise of creaking pipes/a noisy radiator heating up. I would actually say it is more annoying and stress-inducing than just a standard ticking clock! I've tried 2 nights now sleeping with this clock in my room and I've had enough - going to send it back.So disappointed as it does look nice and I expected it to be so much quieter from the reviews and the description.

It cant keep the time very well but is silent.

Nice simple elegant design. Large size means it works well as a hall clock. It is definitely not silent and should not be described as such it makes low rapid clicking sound rather lick and old gas or electric meter. If you want a truly silent clock go for one without a second hand or something digital.

Delivered next day, silent in operation, and has gained 1 second in about 3 months. A great bit of kit.

Really is silent. Good value.
