Great Value Grinder for Daily Coffee Lovers!
I’ve been using the SHARDOR Electric Burr Coffee Grinder 2.0 for a few weeks now, and it’s been a solid addition to my morning routine. The 16 grind settings make it easy to switch between my French press and drip coffee maker, and the grounds come out consistently each time. It’s straightforward to use, and cleaning is a breeze with the removable parts and included brush. One thing to note is that it can be a bit noisy, and there’s some static cling with the grounds, but that’s pretty common with grinders in this price range. Overall, for the price, it delivers great performance and reliability. If you’re looking for an affordable burr grinder that gets the job done, this is a great pick.

Perfect grinder
This is the best coffee grinder I have owned. I like how you can adjust how much coffee you want and how fine you want it ground. It has held up for a few months now with weekly cleaning. Some coffee does fall behind the cup while grinding but not a big deal to me it's not a lot. And it's not loud

Good bit not great.
This unit replaced my BUND that survived about 10 years or so. There are some issues with this that should be addressed. The hopper is far too small. It's half the size of the Bund and needs constant refilling. The receiving cup for the fresh grounds is PLASTIC! Coffee grinding produces electrostatic charge. the grinds stick to sides and make a bloody mess! The receiver is designed with a groove for orientation made to prevent users from inserting it incorrectly or substituting a glass receiver.First impressions are that it is quieter than my dead Bund, the coffee grinds finer than the Bund, though not much, and baring the faults it's a keeper, It that I hate the mess it makes.Like all, the unit is easy to open and clean though that shouldn't be an issue unless changing beans to nuts (making peanut butter.)It's good enough to keep but not enough to get excited about. On the other hand it didn't cost half as much as the Bund either, that has a glass receiver.

Works great and dispenses the right amount.
The appliance does a great job of gridning up the beans to the set amount and dispensing a set amount of coffee. It has made my morning routine much eaier.

A lot of cleanup and counter dust
The grind is okay but not great. With the grinder set to the coarsest setting it’s fine for French press. The grinds do have a lot of fine powder that accumulates on the lid and at the front of the bin. There’s also a lot of fine grinds that get shot out of the bin and end up on the counter. The hopper size is decent and it comes apart for cleaning easily. I’ve had this model for about a year and a half and it’s held up fine.A friend of mine has a capresso and it’s way better and I wish I had spent the extra money to get it instead.

Great coffee grinder!
This a a great little machine!! We have a drip coffee maker and like to grind whole beans (Best is from Trader Joes) and I was using a tiny little grinder that I'd had for years. This little grinder is easy, adjustable and grinds much more at a time. BTW, I have mine set to slightly coarser than Drip. Otherwise it's super powdery. I do recommend this!

Excellent Unit
I really like this grinder. It is compact, well made and works great. While not quiet, it is a lot quieter than my last unit. The last one was more akin to fingernails on a chalkboard in addition to being very loud. This unit is much more tolerable. I also like that this unit has separate controls for each function. My last unit had "one button" control which caused issues with unintentioned changing of settings. Some complain about the mess, but mine makes less mess than my last one. However, I don't do large batches and only grind on demand because fresh is better. Some complain about static causing coffee to cling to sides, etc. I think that is unfair as all grinders have that issue. It's physics, not a issue with the unit. Besides, a couple of taps fixes that.

UPDATE: I like it. Not so much anymore.
It's really true. You can have coffee shop quality coffee at home as long as you have high quality and fresh coffee beans. The difference was very significant. This grinder seems to have plenty of power and is small enough to fit on my counter without taking up too much space. I don't think it makes too much noise. It might be a little louder than a blade grinder, but not much. I sent in my registration to get the full two your warranty and I got a reply back to following day that it had been honored. Who knows if I will need it or what I'm really going to get out of it if I have a problem. Hopefully, it's an indication to manufacture thinks they have a very good product and not just dishonest marketing. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the fact that when I turn on the grinder, a little bit of coffee powder comes out of the sides of the container as it is grinding. It's not spillage from pulling out the container. You can see this happening is it's grinding. That is from one grinding for four cups of coffee. It's not a deal breaker but it is a little annoying to have to clean up afterwards. This is the only reason I did not give this five stars.UPDATE: After having this unit for a while, I'm back to update my review which has to do specifically about cleanliness. I'm now knocking down my review to only two stars because of how messy it is to use this unit. There is a design flaw in this unit that causes ground coffee dust to fall out the sides of the unit and collect at the back of the unit where the ground coffee container sits. When you use the unit, some of the coffee dust never makes it into the container. So after about 3 or 4 uses you end up having about a teaspoon of ground coffee sitting in the back of the unit behind the container. On top of that, the container seems to be the type of plastic that does not prevent static electricity because when you pull out the container there will be ground coffee all over the back side of the container and there will be a lot of coffee stuck on the inside of the lid and the inside of the container that does not fall to the bottom. This is caused by the opening of the mouth of the container not surrounding the mouth of the chute where the coffee comes out. This is because it does not have a bottom mouthpiece on the containers mouth, so ground coffee easily falls down behind the container and gets all over the back side of the container.Do I like the results of the ground coffee or how it tastes for my coffee in the morning? Absolutely. Do I think I should have to clean up my coffee making area every time I use the unit? Absolutely, not! This is my first burr grinder so I can't tell you if this is a common issue with burr grinders. I wouldn't think not. Somebody must have designed a better mousetrap.By the way, the comments about the size of the grind you get is correct - if you are a coffee press or percolator coffee person, you won't like this unit because the grind is always fine and you you might find your coffee to be a little crunchy.I haven't decided what I'm going to do with this unit. Maybe I should grind a whole bunch of coffee all at one time and put it in a container to be used for multiple days, but then that defeats the purpose of having freshly ground coffee. We'll see.
