Cheaply materials, although my son loves it. That is what mattered. It offers no protection. Just show. Paid way to much.

My son got lots of compliments!! Although a small part of hardware piece that attaches it to the test pad, broke after about about a month of having having it. My husband was able to fix it, and he still able to use it

I bought these for my son who is a junior in high school. The design looks so good in person. The chrome on the "HIM" design is like a mirror. His coach doesn't love the saying too much but his friends love it. LOL. Super high quality product and we're very pleased with the purchase. It works well with the shoulder pads we purchased. Easy to install. Highly recommended to add protection to your lower back.

I made sure that the backplate was installed correctly. After the 2nd game right strap broke. After the 3rd game the left strap broke. The straps seemed to be cheaply made compared to some of my son other teammates backplates. Purchased another brand name backplate and haven’t had any issues.

Other than the bolt/screws repeatedly coming off (even after being tightened repeatedly, decent product. I would not buy again.
