Good T Zone helper
I use this mattifying light weight cream in my T Zone area. Even in my 50's my T Zone is still oily and this helps even out the skin "shine" on my face. It goes on very nicely and absorbs quickly, leaving a semi matte finish. I will say this is not a huge oil absorber, so your face will not look completely matte, but it does help with managing the amount of oily shine you can get when not using this product. A little product goes a long way, so this bottle will last you quite a long time.

keeps my forehead from getting shiny quickly
I am really loving this moisturizer as it works kind of like a primer and helps prep my skin at the last stage before makeup. This really does make my face less shiny. It also makes my skin feel smooth. I was constantly checking my T-zone area with the back of my hand and didn't pick up any extra oil for several hours, which is awesome as I usually do get shiny from oily skin in a few hours and need to use oil absorbing sheets. It didn't dry out my skin and the smoothness is a drier smooth feeling than from the other parts of my face where I use my typical cream. I haven't had any issues with this causing any clogged pores, either. I might venture trying this beyond my T-zone area and on my whole face and I don't foresee any issues with that. I recommend this one for oily skin friends!

Still oily!
It sounds like I’m in the minority but after several uses, I’m still as oily as ever and on my t-zone area. I’ve tried it by itself under makeup, with another lotion on top, and I’ve also tried it to over my makeup to see if it would dry up the oil. It has a really nice cooling sensation and does dry up the oil momentarily. But honestly, I’m sitting at an appointment an hour after I used it and my three problem areas are as oily as ever. For the current price of $34 I would expect this to give me all day oil control.While the effect isn’t lasting, the product is quite drying. I would definitely recommend ONLY using on your trouble areas and using a moisturizer elsewhere.The best part about the product is actually the container. It’s made of a high quality frosted glass. It looks really nice in my collection of skincare products.In summary, this product only dries up oil for a short amount of time. But hey, the bottle looks nice.

Definitely a matte finish!
I’ve used this moisturizer for the last few weeks and have mixed feelings about it. First I want to say that it generally does a good job of “mattifying” the skin (if I can even use that word). I have skin that definitely gets oily by the end of the day, and makes it hard to wear makeup that doesn’t rub off. So when I use this moisturizer, I can definitely feel the matte finish because my skin doesn’t have that glossy sheen like it does after using a typical moisturizer. With that being said, I also decided that I don’t know if I “like” that finished though, personally. However it’s also not something im used to, so it could just be me.As for the product itself, it’s a nice consistency, very smooth and a pleasant but low odor. So if you’re looking for a matte finish, this will definitely do the job!

Good oil control
I've had trouble finding an oil control product that I really liked at a reasonable price but this one seems to fit the mold. I would not consider my skin to be super oily, but it does have some shine to it most days, and this cream definitely helped control that and take away the shine. I thought it was relatively quick to absorb, although I did notice that when I sweat it seemed like some of the cream was coming back out (maybe not a totally unexpected outcome). Overall, I thought that this solution worked well to control oil and seems to be a relatively middle of the road priced product, so if you're looking for something the help control oily skin it's worth a try!

Soaks Up Oils But Leaves A Powdery Look
When you first put this on, it feels very soothing and cool, almost like a tingly feeling. I applied this to my T-zone where I get the oiliest. There is no scent to this product which is good for people that get easily overwhelmed with fragrant serums. What I did notice was that it looked like I had a powder where I applied the product. If you aren't applying this to your entire face, this could be an issue since your skin will look like two different shades. I used a little bit of water to dilute it a bit.
