I'm 5' 8", 155 lbs, Athletic build. 30 waist, 39 chest. Small is often snug, medium, a little roomy on me. I tried the Medium as I wanted it as a hiking shirt. Medium was HUGE! Neck, shoulders, back, waist...BIG! The Small is a perfect, relaxed fit with plenty of room to move. Hope this helps someone choose the right size.I haven't put this to a trail test yet, but I think it's going to be great on hot days. Thin, light, smooth, silky feel. A similar material from a big name outdoor apparel brand would probably be 2 times the price.

Fantastic shirt. I was trying to find a fishing-style shirt without the horizontal vent on the back (which to me makes it look like I'm wearing a cape). This one not only looks great but more than makes up for that missing vent with its little pinholes throughout the fabric which make it feel incredibly cool and ventilated. Great design. My only complaint would be that there aren't a ton of color options (especially darker/more saturated colors).This item runs large, so you'll want to size up.

First things first, I’m 5’8” and 198lbs, broad shoulders, slight belly :) 46 years old and I ordered a Large. It’s a really nice fit, not too snug but not a baggy fit either. I guess I would consider it just a “classic” kind of fit… I wore this shirt for the first time today and I love it. It’s light and airy. I wore it to a soccer tournament where the sun was in and out of the clouds for two hours straight. Not much of a breeze, mid to uppers 70’s. The reason I like this shirt so much is that when a breeze DID blow through it felt great but even when there wasn’t a breeze the shirt was still very light and breathable. My wife loves the colors (I ordered Dark Blue and Gray Green) and they are true/accurate to what you see in the pictures from the seller. I probably only need a couple of these but I might order one or two more just because I like them so much! Can’t wait to wear them hiking and I’ll bet they’d make a great fishing shirt. Highly recommended!

Super lightweight. Looks and fits nice. Soft and seemingly breathable for polyester. The only negatives are that it has some random unexplainable design details like a horizontal Velcro thingamajig above one of the chest pockets (can't say if it has a use or not--weird), and a two/three inch long white piece of fabric sewn in on the inside front of the shirt below the button holes that will stick out like a sore thumb if you wear the shirt untucked on a breezy day. Removing with a seem ripper isn't possible due to other layers of fabric sewn over it. Really kind of dumb. Other than that, it seems like it will be a good shirt for added summer sun protection.

This shirt is light-weight. Nice quality and dries quickly. Would buy again.

I was searching for work shirts in Amazon suggested this not what I expected ( it's not a work shirt ) or wanted otherwise it's an okay shirt. Seems cool enough on a hot day.Not sure about the UV claim because when I hold up a UV flashlight to it you don't like just goes right through it. To be fair this was not a scientific test. But I've got some shirts that I bought for the UV blocking that do seem to block a lot more of the UV flashlight.And this is why I usually don't listen to when Amazon suggests something other than what I'm looking for.

These shirts, both the short sleeve and the long sleeve are perfect for the summertime. They are super thin and airy so even the long sleeve is doable in the hot, sunny weather. They dry very fast whether rain or sweat.They provide a better fit for the larger American body sizes, less the European/Asian fit so you don't have to order 3 sizes up. You can just order your normal size.

I like the material, the fit, and the look. I love everything about this shirt.
