Yes I believe they are..i have had mine over a year and I love them..I always waterproof all my boots regardless though..I have been in rain and wore them in the snow also and have had no issues

Q: Is the toe really narrow?

I would say no, the toes isn't narrow. I bought mine a couple years ago (2019) and they were so comfortable from the first time i put them on and they kindly accommodated the bunion on my right foot with no pressure. They break in very easily and with no stress/pain on the feet. I never got the motorcycle license but i continue to wear them. Not too hot to wear in warm weather, either. It’s a terrific boot.

Q: steel toes? I'm sure it would say it if there were but just hoping...

Not sure, but really like them.
