Perfect for terminating my cat6 cable.

Good news first - thee are inexpensive compared with most others, easy to connect, well packaged and they work very well.Not so good - they're too fat to fit up against each other properly n a 48 way patch panel (and probably a 1U-24 way as well). Even with wires trimmed and the labels scraped off I couldn't get them to stack more than 4 abreast so had to leave gaps. My 48 port panel is therefore only 40 spaces usable. Hence the 3 star rating.Fine for faceplate and probably 18 way or 36 way panels, I'd buy again.

The build quality of these keystones is solid enough: wires punchdown well and hold securely, and RJ45 plugs fit into them with a satisfying "snap".The major issue with these keystones is that they are ever so slightly too wide to be able to fit side-by-side in a rack patch panel, meaning every other port has to be skipped: my 24 port patch panel ends up being a 13 port one. I've no doubt these keystones will work well in a wall plate, but avoid if you need them for a rack mount panel.

These seemed good quality devices but if you use a krone tool on them they can shatter very easily. I’ve already destroyed 5 of them which isn’t good. You have to squeeze the ends very hard when connecting the wires to prevent them from shattering.

I used these to build a couple of patch panels in the garage to terminate POE cameras and POE wireless access points. The fit in the keystone covers was prefect and held the wires very well.
